World Jr Hockey Championship

Hi Everyone,

Anyone going to or interested in the world hockey jr championships. I live in one of the cities where the tournaments will be held. There are 2 cities Thief River Falls, MN and Grand Forks, ND. Both cities have brand new hockey arenas compliments of Ralph Engelstand - previous owner of emperial palace (I think) in vegas.

Just wondering if anyone followed this. I am a much bigger football fan than hockey. I hope to make it to a few games anyway.

Hey Winter: I love it that junior hockey is getting the interest it deserves with the NHL strike still ongoing. Junior hockey is great hockey, they are hungry players and, generally speaking, the diva factor is much less than in professional hockey. I grew up on junior hockey and used to follow the Ontario Junior Hockey team, The Belleville Bulls religiously when Marty McSorley played for them some 20+ years ago. I'm sure the fans attending the tournaments are in for some very exciting games!!
