Good morning ladies....I am doing some Taebo and Nordic track and also P90X Back & Biceps then AbRipperX.

I have had a bit of pain on the inside of my knee after the long run on sunday so I am not able to run. Yes, I am bummed out and hope as the pain isn't too bad that this is not serious...

Happy Thanksgiving, Americans!

This morning I did the Timesaver#2 (SB warm up; combo 3; SJP hi/lo 1 & 2), followed by SuperSets. A very nice little workout. SuperSets is so much fun, and works you just a little harder than Push Pull. My biceps are nice and toasty now :) And I like using all the different equipment in SS.

Carole - I *really* hope your knee is not seriously injured!! What will you be eating today, since you will not be eating turkey? Do you have a vegetarian concoction that is to die for?

Jes - I'm so happy to see you here! That was quite an upper body workout you did the other day!! Whew! And did you live through all of IMAX2? What will today's lower body workout consist of?

Mariángeles - that is soooo frustrating for you to still be so sore!! I wish there was something I could do to help. Please be patient with yourself, so you don't delay the healing process.

Katie - yes, we are indeed trying. We've been trying for just over a year now, so it's not quite so exciting anymore :-( I hope Wendy has better luck!

Haydee - JUST HSTA?! I would say that is quite enough on its own! Good workout!

Laurie - You did Step Blast mixed with half of IMAX2?! WOAH!! That would be on par with IMAX Extreme, wouldn't it? You are an endorphin junkie, no doubt! Cool idea. I'm going to "tuck that away for now", as Cathe says in Step Jam.

Sandy - what is your advanced cardio at the gym like? Is it step? How do you like your new workout clothes?

Tammy - I'm with you on the MIC hi/lo. Blech :p I do it, but I rarely enjoy it.

Suzanne - congrats on the headstand! How long did you stay up for? I read one yoga booked that talked about headstands for as much as 30 minutes!! I've managed to get up to about 20 seconds.

Enjoy your dinners and try to keep the family tension to a minimum!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!

This morning was IMAX 3 from The Terminator and 30 mins on the StairMaster. It felt so good I wish I were home right now, b/c I feel I could do either KPC or Gauntlet, in its entirety.

I order SJP/SB, hope to receive it today, if so, that will be my Thanksgiving Day workout.

I hope and pray everyone a Happy, Healthy and Safe holiday.

Well, today I attempted Rhythmic Step. I have the day off and thought today was as good as day as any to dive into it. I had an appointment for the furnace guy to come and fix the furnace sometime between 12 and 4.

Well, you guessed it, half way through the workout the furnace tech shows up two hours early so workout aborted. UGH!!

Rhythmic Step looks like it is going to be fun, once I get the steps down. Some of those combos seem pretty confusing.

I hope everyone has a better workout than I did!

I did PLB this morning and will be running 6 miles this evening. I will not be on the boards until December 1st, so have a Happy Thanksgivig everyone. By the time I come back I will be a Grandmother.

Hi all!

Today is my advanced step class at the gym followed by CW abs.

Sandra, wednesday is always my step night at the gym...I really enjoy the class, the music rocks and it's a lot of fun, like Cathe actually:) The difference is my instructor's music is generally faster paced than Cathe's....lately I've been really pushing myself really hard during class, I even pretend i'm doing intervals! Oh I love the clothes by the way, wore my first outfit to the gym last night!! The pants are SOOOO incredibly comfortable, wow:7 ! Can't wait to order more stuff}( I already put together a list of what I want next!

Mariangeles, how are you feeling today?? I really hope the pain is subsiding somewhat.

Suzanne, awesome job on the headstand!!! As for me (I like to practice Astanga) I'm still so proud of the fact that I can do a full bow pose!!! One day i'll get to that headstand:+ !

Laurie, I have GOT to try that combo! As a matter of fact I may even try that tomorrow...thanks for the inspiration:7 !!

I have a lot to be thankful for this year and having found Cathe and all you wonderful and inspiring people is definitely up there:)!

Thank you Sandy. I am better now not OK but better. I have been two days without exercises. Yesterday I did BS/BF cardio and the 10 minutes of abs in the stability bal. No jumps and weight workout until be recover. It is hard. I was really enjoying the November rotation I was doing.I am dreaming about to do the S & H workouts again. Thank you. I hope you will have a wonderfull Thanksgiving day.

I am doing CTX upper and a 60 min. step blast and SJP Premix...get off of work at 1pm today so I am doing extra long workout...Goodness I would so have a six pack if that dang work didn't get in the way:) Have a happy thanksgiving everybody.
 
Hey Everyone! Carole, so sorry to hear that your leg is giving you a bit of grief. I know how hard it is to take a rest:) Sending healing thoughts your way!

Today I did hi/lo of MIC and Legs and Glutes. Great workout, I sweat (I mean glistened) like a strong and well conditioned pig! I have been paying a bit more attention to my legs lately and love the DOMS in my glutes, stretching feels wonderful!

Tammy, I feel for you! Aborted workouts just frustrate and pi$$ me off! But well running furnaces are a very good thing too:p .

Sandra, I haven't done SuperSets in ever so long, maybe I'll dust it off next week!

Mariangeles, Hope your feeling somewhat better in the neck and traps!

Hi all, I am still doing the Nov. rotation but this morning I did Pyramid Upper Body Shoulders instead of PS shoulders and I also did PLB floorwork instead of PS'. I did do PSSL&A abs though and I tacked on the 8 min. taebo twice for about 20 min. total.:) My weight is going up yet my measurements all except my waist are all about the same so I don't know what is going on with that,:( . Most of my clothes still fit but I have some that don't and I really need them to fit.:eek: And the holidays coming doesn't help matters either.:9 :+ :eek:

I am going to do Step Blast and Abs today. Yesterday, I worked out for 3 h and I am sore. And the day before I did heavy weights and areobics and the combination of the two days has made for a very sore wednesday. Its a good sore though. Anyway, thanks for the yoga headstand encouragement. I still cant do the bow pose-YET.

Happy Turkey Day to all. My sister-in-law is cooking on thanksgiving and she has to be the worst cook in the world. Last year, she undercooked all the meat. YUCK!. This year, we are eating BEFORE going for dinner just to be safe. I know-why do we let her continue to host-you ask? She insists on cooking and it really isnt that important to the rest of us to take over the chore of cooking for so many people.

Sandra--lower body will be leg presses on total gym machine, squats against wall w/ stability ball hamstrings with ankle weights and calves on machine. yuck!! i hate doing legs! i "pm"ed you yesterday. did you get it?

I did my Nordic Track for 6.5 miles yesterday and now my hip flexors are crying! They always do after I go too far on that machine. I never learn. Today I walk the dog for 40 minutes and do an hour of Pilates. Thanksgiving morning I hope to get a video in before we have to leave, I've been over sleeping the past 2 days so we'll see...;-) Take care and all of you have a blessed Thanksgiving. Susan
 
Hi Everyone-

Done working for the day so I think I may squeeze in another workout. This morning I did Legs and Glutes.

Sounds like some of you are letting out some serious sweat today in preparation for tomorrow;)

Sandra- Did you test today? I didn't. I am waiting till tomorrow but now I just have a feeling that it won't happen this month-I don't know. How do you keep from thinking about it constantly? My DH thinks it will happen when it happens and there's no point stressing over it-I wish I had his attitude-sometimes anyway;).

Carole-take care of yourself-have you seen any MD or Physical Therapist? The last thing you need is to have a permanent injury-I know how much you love to run.

Haydee- You will love SB/SJP-it is so much fun it doesn't even feel like your working out! Well, I guess alot of Cathe's workouts are like that:)

Josie-We'll miss you and good luck with the new grandbaby-How Exciting!

Sandy- When I talked to the woman at Active You-They were out of catalogs but there were more on the way so hopefully I will get it soon so I can order new workout clothes- Glad to hear you love your purchase!

Tammy- I HATE it when my workout gets interrupted!!!x(

Hi All,

Hope you are alle doing well? Enjoying your workouts?

It's been a while, but I am having major problems with my internet connection at home (meaning I can't get on the internet), and I don't have access from my office computer.

I am looking into getting a new internet provider but overhere, that may take up to 8 weeks before I'm connected again.

Anyways, have been running three times a week, doing strength workouts 3xweek so I am trying to stick to some kind of workout schedule.

I will be buying a "cross trainer" or tread mill (yikes) soon as running in the pitch dark with hail storms or icy cold rain is not high on my list, but that way I can stick to my running schedule when my motivation is low due to wheather conditions.

Well, I'll be back whenever I can get access to internet.
