Good morning!! I am doing Taebo and then Core Synergistics....and yes my shoulders are a bit sore from the weight increase in ME....I can't wait to try my new Freddy Shoes....:)...have a great day...Carole

Hi Carole! I just posted this in a separate post, but have copy and pasted it below. I'll see if I can delete my check-in thread for today.

BTW, Carole, how is your training progressing? Are you going to be ready for the marathon on Jan 1? And how will you be spending New Year's Eve? I'd hazard a guess that you won't be up till midnight, indulging in excess?

My chest is a bit full from a cold, so I'm not feeling 100%, but still fully functional. I did Rhythmic Step this morning, followed by Boot Camp core premix. After doing almost 2 weeks of either interval or circuit cardio work, RS felt quite easy. This was good; my system needed a lighter day.

Where is the rest of the group this morning?

Wendy, here's the rotation I have devised, to do a couple of weeks from now:

Mon: CardioKicks
Tues: Power Circuit (cardio and abs) & CTX Upper Body Split
Weds: Circuit Max & Leaner Legs
Thurs: All-Step (cardio and abs) & SH Chest/Back
Fri: Kickbox/10-10-10 & SH Triceps/Biceps/Abs
Sat: Step and Intervals (cardio and Kickbox abs)* SH Legs/Shoulders

Have a good day!
Sandra

It was IMAX 2 for me at 5:00 this morning. I love that workout. I feel it's benefits all day long afterwards.

Hi all, November rotation for me, S&H Shoulders, PLB stability ball only with abs only from PUB and Power Circuit.

Busy day!!:7

Hello Ladies!

I did 30 min hill running and 10 min rowing plus P90X Shoulders and Arms. I sort of missed Tony... so now I do P90X for a while.

Take care everyone and have a great day, Mari

Hello everyone!

Tonight is an advanced step class at my gym followed by PUB abs.

Carole, I think you're going to love those freddy shoes...please let us know how you like them!! So exciting:7 !!

Annette, how have you been feeling?

Sandra, that looks like a great rotation!!!

Have a great day:)

Hey Ladies: I was a stepping fool this morning:) I did the step portion of BodyMax followed by MIC step and finished with some abs and stretch. As I was doing the backward lunges on the step and the seemingly endless uneven lunges in MIC I found myself getting very excited about the LoMax workout. All of the pictures have been amazing, can't wait for KickMax pictures!!:)

Enjoy your day!

Take Care
Laurie

Happy Wednesday Everybody!

Today I did PLB. Tonight I think I might do MIC (Thanks Laurie for the suggestion) and some abs since my DH is going out to drink beer(oh, and play pool;)) with his friends. I kind of like it when he's gone cause I can turn up the volume really loud which I can't do at 6am when he's still sleeping:)

Laurie- I can't wait for the Kickmax pictures either-maybe tonight we'll see some more. I can't believe they are almost done filming.

Sandra- Thank you so much for posting your rotation-it looks great. Let me know when you are going to start it, if you don't mind, I may join you.

I really love all the workout clothes that Cathe and the girls are wearing-I told my husband that I would like some new workout clothes for Christmas so we'll see(Oh, yeah-the Hardcore Series was my Christmas gift but I bet he forgot already}( ;-) )Anyway, I called yesterday and left a message for Sharon to send me a catalog. I'm so jealous of Wanda who posted on another thread that she ordered ALL the outfits of Cathe and the girls(Go Wanda!)- I wish;( x(

Oh, last night I made a pasta casserole for dinner and I used tofu for the first time and my DH never noticed it(he's a beer and hot wing kind of guy:)) It really doesn't have much taste does it? Anyway, does anyone know where I can get some good recipes that aren't too "out there"-I need to be able to trick the DH into eating healthy.:)

Anyway, have a great day, Wendy

Wendy, I would LOVE to have some company when I do that rotation! I have it scheduled for Monday, November 21 to Saturday, November 27. If that fits your schedule, then that would be fun!

Laurie, that was quite the step workout you did! Whew! I've considered doing that, but never actually got up enough nerve. I actually don't mind the uneven lunges in MIC - it's the sashay's that I can't stand. There are simply waaaay too many for my comfort. They are deceptively intense, I find. Did MIC step feel easier/harder/the same following BodyMax step, instead of the hi/lo?
For what it's worth, my plans are to do BodyMax tomorrow, and MIC on Friday. I'll be cooking my legs for the next couple of days!

Sandy, have you tried SJP yet? Or any of the SB/SJP premixes? The Body Blast series is my focus for next week, and I am chopping at the bit to get to it.

Take care,
Sandra

Hi Sandra,

No I haven't tried it yet....that's definitely for tomorrow though:D and I can't wait to try it though.........just need to ask....how much hi/lo is there in this workout? I quite honestly hate hi/lo but perhaps with Cathe it will be more tolerable:+ ! I am really looking forward to trying the premixes as well...woo hoo!

I would also really love to join you on that rotation, which looks awesome by the way, but I don't have SH or CTX....YET}( Maybe I can substitute with what I have from IS.....

Take care!

Hi Sandy and thanks for asking.

As long as I stay away from sugar alcohols and peanut butter I am ok. I still need to test the waters with dairy and soy. I am reluctant to test the waters because I am afraid of what my body will do, but I will so I can either figure out that I can have them or add them to the no-no list of things to avoid.

Thanks again for asking!:7

There is about 20 minutes of hi/lo, but it's broken up into 4 x 5 minutes segments, so it goes by really fast. This hi/lo is NOT the hi/lo of MIC, by any means. It's much easier, and the music is so good you really do feel more like you're dancing than exercising. The fourth segment, in fact, is all low, with a super song, and I consider it a cool-down more than a conditioning segment. This is a good thing because she seriously fries your hip flexors, quads and hamstrings with the lunge segment just before it.

Now this is very exciting!!! What workouts DO you have? We can find something to fit!

I'll be thinking about you doing SJP tomorrow!
Sandra

Sandra,
Thanks for the breakdown....ok I can definitely handle those segments:D!! Oh my with your description of the music and moves I REALLY can't wait to try it out tomorrow:7}(

Ok here is what I do have: entire IS series, KPC/LG, SB/SJP, HSTA, RS VHS and CK/CM (hopefully by xmas this list will have grown by leaps and bounds!)......I'm heading off to bed now but in the morning I will think about how it can be mixed up!!! Let me know what your suggestions are:D!

Annette, glad to hear that you can at least zero in on a few culprits, hopefully eliminating some of these will give you some measure of relief.....good luck with "testing the waters" w/ soy and dairy, let us know how you do.

Have a great night!!
