Workout times

Hi Cathe or anyone else who can answer. I would like to know if a workout should be done at the same time everyday or if that matters at all. I work nights 6pm to 6am and on the days that I work, I do my workout before I go to work. If I am off though I prefer to do my workouts late at night. I assume the reason I have more energy at this time is because my body is adjusted to night shift. Sometimes I am up at midnight doing my workout and then the next day I workout early (about 3pm) because I have to go to work that night. I never workout in the mornings because on my days off I don't feel like it and on the days I get off work at 6am, I don't feel like it. Is this okay or should I try to set a time to workout every day. Thanks for any input.:)
