Because of all people wrote about it, and what Tony says on the DVD about high impact and bad knees, I really dreaded doing P90X Plyometrics.

Today I thought I give it a try as I'm revising my schedule up to race day. And as Carole thought it helped with running, I'd better try it. And it was fun. I could keep up with the crew, so that boosted my ego:) The only exercises that gave my knee any trouble were the lunges in the warm up, and the one-legged hops at the end, so I modified these. I did do most of the w/o on my thick sticky mat to help with the impact. Great leg w/o. Followed by Ab Ripper.

After, I made myself a banana smoothie with proteine as a recovery drink and then added on PUB up only.

Annette...I think after my 12.4 mile trail run I might need a rest day!...Dutchie, I am so glad you tried PlyoX! I think Pam usually does the modifications and even with knee trouble you can do it. Sometimes I modify near the end as I am dead tired...:)...then you did Ab Ripper and PUB?! WOW...I think the protein drink certainly helps. I had done something to my neck as it hurt to turn my head left. Made it thru the run okay and we even jumped in the lake when we were done, that felt so good. My nephew is my Chiropractor so when I started getting a headache from my neck I called him and pleaded...luckily he just lives around the block...:D feeling much better now....:)...Carole
