Good morning! Today I am doing a long run around my neihgborhood. We had planned a run near another lake, but another fire broke out yesterday so they closed the area! Hoping for about 16 miles, but it depends on the heat. I might do P90X Stretch after my run...enjoy the workouts ladies....:)...Carole

Good Morning Carole,

Do you post your daily work outs here everyday?. This morning I am doing cardio and weights, I love that work out.I know a lot of people think this work out is a walk in the park, for some it is but for me it is great, I do admit some are harder but I love it. I plan on doing a pilates tape as well, probally one of my new classical pilates I just received. Have a good day Carole, enjoy your run!!.:)

Have a great day everyone

Debbie:) :D :+ :7

Hello Everyone

Debbie, so nice to see you on board.... :)

A bunch of us here decided to post our daily workots, we find it very motivating and entertaining. Welcome!

I did Bodymax today -- inspired by Wendy yesterday -- the whole nine yard. No wonder this DVD got all sort of rewards, it is just great! Now off to see my MIL...

Enjoy the Sunday, ladies!

Mari

Thanks Mari, I will look for the thread tomorrow. Do you all do just Cathe?. She is what I do mosts days but I like to do Billy Blanks Taebo and pilates and a few others, but mainly Cathe, she is the best!!.

I hope you all have a great day.

Mari, have a nice visit with your MIL today.

Off to do a little work and then read my new w.w. magazine. I love reading the stories, they are so motivating:)

I will check back later tonight, have a great day!!.

Debbie:D :) :7

Welcome Debbie,
I do post my workouts on here everyday - I don't know anyone (except for these forums)who is into Cathe and staying healthy so this forum is great motivation for me and I've met some great people. I look forward to it everyday and I think we all feed off of each other for support, motivation, etc. Anyway, welcome to the group and I hope you will check in daily. Also, I have only done Cardio and Weights once - Ive only had it about 2 weeks but I really enjoy it.

As far as what I do for workouts - I'm fairly new to Cathe(about 2 1/2 months). Since then, I have done only Cathe with the occasional Karen Voight (1x every 2 weeks). Cathe is just amazing its hard to do anything else - I love how she challenges me. Also, some of the ladies on the board are runners and have inspired me to incorporate that into my workouts.

Carole, take care of yourself- I've been thinking about you and those around you.

Also, what does MIL stand for?

As far as my workout this morning, I was feeling very energetic. I did Step Blast for the first time and had trouble with some of the choreography in the last 2 segments so I did a lot of basics:), but I'll get the hang of it soon. Then I did HSTA and the Stability Ball Abs from High Step Circuit.

Talk to you all later.:)

Hi Wendy, wow what a nice welcome.

I would love to post my work outs here in the mornings. Wendy, it took me a few times with step blast, you will get it soon, and once you do the fun begins!!. I agree cathe is the best. MIL I believe stands for mother in law. I ALSO LOVE HSTA, what a great work out.
I could kick myself in the rear end for not getting in on the presale tapes. I have quite a few cathe tapes to keep me busy. I just thought I could buy one every now and then. Wasn't the first sale 159.99?. Cathe's sight emailed me and said the prices will keep going up, you snooze you lose !!. I still haven't ordered rhe dvd with body max and power hour, maybe I should order that and get a few of cathe's tapes, h'mm decisions!!. It sounds like I am talking myself in to something today!!:D :7 :+

Debbie

Evening all,

Hmmm, did abs yesterday, but no w/o today again.

On a positive note: I'm back an track with my study schedule so that should give me some room to workout tomorrow. I have to, cause I need to do my run. Actually the rest seems to be good for my knees, so that's good too.

Enjoy your day.

Dutchie

Walk/Run with dog. He is getting too old to run, but it began thunderstorming halfway through and we kind of had to run to get home. :p He was a trooper, though.

Also PUB.

Welcome Debbie....its nice to get new posters as I find it interesting reading what others do...:)...I am not a big fan of Cardio & Weights, not really sure why I might just find more complex cardio more fun..:)..or I'm just weird...although I don't like the song "Build me up Buttercup" that could be part of it too. I am doing a P90X rotation along with running and some Cathes. I do like her workouts the best. I've done them since about 1990, but alot more in the last 2 years.

Wendy, thanks for your thoughts. The fires seems to be better today but this is just a bad time of year and we had a nasty snow in late Dec that took down ALOT of trees that haven't been cleared from some areas...they go up like matchsticks as they are dead and dry. Yes MIL is for Mother-in-law...we like to take shortcuts with initials! I do because I type so badly...:)

I did make 16 miles today... :D but not without a little trip about 4 miles into the run...caught myself though which might not be good as I pulled a muscle in my upper ham/lower glute...YEOW!

Dutchie...I'm glad you are getting back on track with your studies and schedules...and I think the rest will be good for your knees...no sure I could find the patience to go back to school...I find it very impressive you do it!!:D .....:)...have a good evening...Carole
