Workout Suggestions

I've been nursing a sore lower back for about 10 days. I haven't really worked out at all except for walking. I'd really like to work out today, maybe some weights. My back still hurts a bit. Any workout suggestions that won't aggrevate my lower back?
 
Hi - Don't have a workout suggestion, but wondered if you saw the thread under the "Ask Cathe" forum about lower back pain. There is some really good advice there that might help your pain. Hope you feel better soon.:)

Awwww Buffy! I'm so sorry. Just wishing you a speedy recovery. Possibly you could do some upper body work but wondering if you should give it just a few more days or so to see if the pain goes away? Thinking of you!

Thanks, Debbie. I think you are right. I did a very light pilates workout and then took a walk and my back is actually feeling pretty good right now. Maybe I'll try some upper body tomorrow and walk again.
 
I am so happy to hear it is feeling a bit better. Just take it easy a few more days & I'll bet you will be fine. Thinking of you still!

Buffy, take a couple of more easy days! It's better to make sure you're healed and strong enough before getting back to the workout.

I'm glad you're back is feeling better today!
