Ok, as you all probably have read in many posts, i'm looking for a new rotation. I have weight trained for years and built lots of muscle. I have a very similar look to cathe. Now, while I think cathe is beautiful, I don't like the muscle I have obtained or that particular look for me. That being said, i'm looking to decrease some of my muscle and become a bit smaller. So I wanted to know what would be good for that. Would a 20 min weight training session be good after 45 min of cardio? I have 2 things I'm thinking of doing but need help deciding.
option 1
monday: 45 min run; 20 min total body weights
tuesday: turbojam; abs
wednesday: 45 min ellipical; 20 min total body weights
thursday: turbojam;abs
friday: 45 min run; 20 min total body weights
sat and sun: off
option 2
monday: 45 min run; 15 min chest and tri
tuesday: turbo jam; abs
wednesday: butts and guts and shoulders
thrusday: turbo jam
friday: 45 min ellipical; 15 min back and bis
Some of the turbo jams will be replaced with KPC or KM for a change. if i choose to do the total body weight training, i will do all compound movements such as squats, lunge, step ups, push ups, pull ups and then some bis and tris thrown in. For all of the weight training i will do 3 sets of 15 reps. So which do you think will help me reach what i'm trying to acheive? sorry so long.
