WORKOUT Monday 08/09

Good Morning all,

It's a beautiful but hot day overhere. Did some household chores first thing this morning (before it would get too hot).

Did P90X Plyo, had my usual banana/protein shake then added on PUB UP premix skipping the warm up. Then did a nice long stretch. Well, it's almost 10:30am and I haven't had any coffee yet. I'm off to my study books: experimental psychology, not my favourite. I'm trying to stick to my schedule, but I'm already half a chapter behind.

Hi Everyone,

I just did IMAX 2 for the third time and am getting pretty good at it. But still a bit sore in the hamstrings from PLB and in the triceps from PUB yesterday. I've put on a few pounds (I eat like every meal is my last when that "time of the month"}( comes along) so hopefully tonight after work I will have time to squeeze in another workout.

Dutchie, Good luck with the studying. I just finished my master's degree about two weeks ago and I know how tough it can be to study -especially when there are 1000 other things we would rather be doing (like being on these forums ;-) ).

Dutchie and Wendy...I commend you both for the intense studying you must have to do!...I need coffee as soon as I get up Dutchie...:D I thought this was a recovery week for me...but I messed up...so I am doing a 5 mile run and then Chest,Triceps and Shoulders & AbRipperX from P90X...have a good day....:)...Carole

I need my coffee too, but I also needed to get a few things done or I wouldn't do them at all. And then later on use them to procrastinate :D :D

Congrats on your master's degree. Being a single mum, and having a job I'm on a 12 year plan doing 4-5 courses a year if real life doesn't mess with my planning:) Still 8 years to go. What did you study?

Hello everyone

Coffee? For me -- first thing in the morning. But after 2 cups I'm done for the rest of the day.

I'm in "Cathe mood" nowadays....:) So I decided to wait until September w/P90X -- then do a whole 12 weeks circle. Today I did PUB upperbody with fairly heavy weights, plus abs. I used med ball for the first part of the ab routine.. Cardio has to wait until afternoon.
Now gotta run to work.

Hi all, I did PS Chest, Shoulders and Triceps today and abs off of MIS and Body Max.:) Trying something different this week. Going to do weights only today, cardio tomorrow then weights again on Wed. and alternating like that.:D See if I can jump start my body to lose the weight the medicine put on me. I am on day 37 of my cycle and it is no where in sight, sigh, at least the longer it waits the more of a chance I won't have it at the beach.

I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology. Then I got my degree in Dental Hygiene. Then I went back and got my Master's degree in Health Education with an emphasis in Community Health. Also, my husband was working on his Master's at the same time so we both had to study. We do not have any children yet either so that definitely made it much easier.

You should be so proud of yourself for going back especially while working and being a single mom. Besides, it doesn't matter how long it takes you, what counts is the fact that you are doing it. Congratulations and if you need somewhere to vent let us
know!:)

Thanks Wendy, none of my friends or relatives understands why I study or workout for that matter. Waste of time according to them, cause I'm too old. But I've always walked to the beat of my own drum so I don't listen or talk to them about it. But it makes me feel kind a lonely sometimes.

Still haven't made a choice yet for my bachelor: health psychology or work psychology. Or I could do one then do the six extra courses to get the other as they are mostly the same. I think health and work psychology are closely linked.

IN SPAIN IT HAS BEEN A RAINY DAY.I HAVE DONE THE WHOLE STEP BLAST AND THE WHOLE LEGS AND GLUTES. I LOVE IT.:) :)
 
I did CTX Kickboxing/biceps and added the chest portion of Step and Intervals this morning.

The mailman brought me BodyBlast Vol 1 and 2 and I previewed them so I can do one tomorrow. The question is: WHICH ONE? I'm thinking SJP and then I'll try to tackle Step Blast on Wednesday. WOO HOO!

I CAN NOT CHOOSE BETEWEEN SB AND SJP.THESE STEP WORKOUTS ARE AWESOME. IF YOU ARE TIRED DO SB . SJP IS LONGER.
