Cathlete
Hey pregos! I hope everyone had a great, energy-filled week. I'm beginning to feel like myself again (knock on wood). I had a 9 1/2 week ultrasound on Wednesday & everything looks perfect. I don't meet with my ob/gyn until July 30th, but that's fine. I"m not in a huge hurry for that pelvic exam. x(

Here's my workout log for week of June 22nd

Sun: PUB
Mon: Tough Aerobic Mix + Ab Hits
Tue: I-Max2 Intervals 1-7
Wed: REST
Thurs: Viper (modified 9th interval)
Fri: Power Circuit
Sat: 10-10-10

**Just got CTX Express on DVD. I imagine I will continue with that into the next week. Also got Cathe's orange hat. It's so cool. I've been wearing it everywhere I go!

I am due Sept 21.-28 weeks along. Wow it goes quick.
My workout for the week has been:
Today(Sunday)-Firm-vol 2 low impact aerobics
Sat-Reebok-Step and rythym(I think that the name with Petra)
Friday- Firm-tortoise
Thurs-Firm-Hare
Wed-Gay Gasper-2 Jammin workouts-step and kickbox workout+30 minute walk
Tues-Firm-standing legs
Monday-Firm-upper body +45 minute walk
Last Suday-Zumba adv

Yes, I've been on a firm kick as I've put my Cathe videos except wedding one away for now.

Thanks for the update. I've gotten rid of most of my FIRM videos, except for Tough Aerobic Mix & Abs. My libary has many of the videos...I'll have to explore that as I get farther along.

Here's my question for you: Is the Gay Gasper video the CIA one with the pregnant lady in the back? I borrowed a CIA video (I think in 2001-2002) that had a pregnant lady in it (for modifications) and I've been trying to figure out which one that is for a long time! Just wondering.

I'm so proud of you...so far along and working out so consistently. You are an inspiration to us all! Thank you!

Thanks for your positive words. After reading other people's workouts, sometimes I feel like I'm taking it too easy. Two Jammin workouts by Gay Gasper is the one with a pregnant woman. It has become one of my favorite pregnancy videos. I also have been enjoying her Greatest step workout. It doesn't have modifications but it is mostly low impact. I have been really lucky with working out, my energy remains high. Good luck to you in your pregnancy.

Hi all:
I work out thurs-tues with Wednesdays off, so that's what I will post starting with Thursday the 26th. A side note--I find that I have to modify things significantly and I am down to a 4"step because my lower back is really hurting me.

Thurs---MIS Legs, MIC step portion
Fri---MIS upper body, 30 min stationary bike
Sat---MIS Legs, Step Works warm up and sections 1&2
Sun---MIS upper body, 30 min stationary bike
Mon---Body Max, sections 1&2
Tues---Body Max section 3, 30 min stationary bike
Tomorrow---REST :D

For some reason over the last couple of days I have felt unusually fatigued and thirsty. It could be the heat, but I am going to call the advice nurse just in case.

9 1/2 weeks to go!

Maggie
due 9-8-03 with #5 the tie breaker--a boy

Maggie: Thanks for the update. All you 'seasoned' pregnant ladies are such an inspiration to us less 'seasoned' ladies! Wow!! So far along and still working out 6 days a week. Only 9 1/2 weeks to go (and I've barely gone 9 1/2 weeks)! Keep up the good work, I'm sure it'll pay off once the baby arrives!

Melanie:
Hi. Like I said, I modify a lot:). Unfortunately because of complications with our fourth child before and after birth, I gained a whole lot of weight and didn't lose it all before this one. (He's fine now) The bad news is I started out about 30 lbs overweight (yikes). The good news is that I have not gained as much as I normally do and I am now in the habit of exercising regularly. I hope that that will help me lose the weight come Sept.

By the way, congrats on a good ultrasound at 9 weeks. That's a really good sign.

Hey guys...now when I used to check in on the ectochick thread we would post our "plan" for the week to come. I think your way is a little more accurate in that you post what you've actually done for the past week. We would write our plan and sometimes sound incredibly tough, but you never "really" know what was "really" achieved. OOOOO  now we have to be honest as to what we have actually done!! Thanks a lot ;) ;) ;) ;)

Okay, I've had some bad weeks, but last week was awesome.

M-CTX Upperbody and C&W abs
T-LL, Abs and PLB stability ball work
W - PS all upperbody and abs
T - Imax II
F - S&H Legs and shoulders, ab work
S - Upperbody (minus some shoulder work) ala Aquajock, just really heavy basic lifting with too many pushups (these are getting tough).

Sun - rest

I'm doing the same thing this week and it's going well now...the sickness is finally getting better and I feel more energy with workouts. I'm not modifying yet...but I do rest (stop the tape) at certain points where I need to take a few seconds to breath and recharge (I didn't have to do this before...can definitely tell pregnancy changes things). I'm sure I'll be modifying soon enough!! I did modify the superman's in PS for the first time today as it felt like I was starting to squish baby. Did some pelvic rocks in place of them.

Have a great week everyone!! (Melanie.....did I mention you will be feeling better soon!!!)
