XTRAIN One Rep Max Testing
If you have stopped working out for a long period of time taking a new One Rep Max test is a good idea for all exercises. Otherwise it shouldn't be necessary, except for new exercises. The purpose of a One Rep Max test is to establish a starting point for the weights you will need for each exercise. You can then tweak and adjust your one rep max results based on your actual workout experience.
