Workout bloopers

Ok, name them!!!!!
I was doing B&G abs and the one exercise when your legs are on the ball and you roll your hips, i rolled off. Was hilarious. I had to rewind ...Didn't roll so far after that..

What is the blooper of your workouts???

Where to begin....:)

All Step ~ Grapevine-down-the-board-sashay-over......rolled my ankle and crashed into the hot water heater (with style and grace of course!)

IMAX2 ~ the only set of Power-15's, my fingers...whack, whack, whack in the ceiling fan.

PUB ~ Chest work, putting down my weights and pinching my finger between.....had a blue nail to remind me of that one for weeks.

SJP ~ changing plates....pinched fingers....feels SO GOOD when the pain stops :+ :7

I could go on but I think that's good for now ;)

Take Care

Doing K&P Abs, the pike on the ball....had my arms give out and I fell on my face. I kicked my husband the other day too while doing the sidekicks on the step in Low Max. Sheesh! He should have known better than to walk near me during a workout.

I've had bloopers too numerous to recall but the one that made me laugh was a few years back when I was first learning to use my stability ball. I fell off, it bounced into the wall then ricocheted back and bounced off my head. I was so glad nobody else was in the room because it appeared the stability ball was in complete charge that day. :D

LOL! That's a really good one!

Those legs to the side, arms in the air in Low Max. I've got permanently bruised knuckles from hitting them on the staircase when I sweep my arms up. You'd have thought I'd learn by now!

Also, second or third time I did Low Max getting back on the step at the side and trying to keep an eye on Cathe, I completely missed my footing and landed right on my backside. So glad I wasn't in a step class then ...

LOL these are funny. All the more reason to work out at home right? First time I ever tried the rollins on the stability ball during KPC abs. Lost my balance and landed right on the floor, like a belly flop.

More!! More!! These are great!
1. I was hiking in Crested Butte one summer and had an uncontrolled and very loud unfortunate gas attack (thought I was alone way up there) just as another really cute hiker came around the cornerx(
2. Had a broken handrail at my lake cabin pier and was showing off my powerful push kick to our local assistant police chief - to knock it the rest of the way down - missed, lost my balance and tumbled down the rest of the stairs, landing on my face.:7 So glad it wasn't on video.
3. This wasn't me, but I'm still luaghing 11 years later: my best friend and I were working out at the little boxing gym we used to go to - she was working on the over/underbag and it bounced back and smacked her in the face, knocking her down on her a$$}( }(

Charlotte, your #3 *ouchie*

My workout room is an upstairs bedroom that we've turned into a gym. Space is limited but it's mostly big enough for what we do. There is a huge window in the room and I am always afraid when I do kickboxing that I'm going smash my foot through it. DH also recently installed a ceiling fan which hangs kind of low. I keep picturing myself doing a Cathe step tape, flailing my arms and getting my hand chopped off by it. :)

OK I'm gonna top you all w/a very red face. I think I posted about this once or twice before.

During my first year of exercise (ummmm 1991!) I hired a trainer. One night he had me doing crunches off the end of a bench while he sat on my feet (yeah, would never do that today). Basically my butt was at the edge of the bench while my upper body crunched up & down, knees were bent, he was sitting on my feet w/his face pretty much level w/my knees.

I pooted right in his face.

Never went back. Had to join another gym.

Laura :: hilarious! That is always my fear when I go to the gyn.

My most recent blooper was attempting a one-armed pushup in P90X and falling splat on my face.

I have at least one good stumble per season while running - usually in front of a long line of gridlocked traffic.

LOL .. I was running w/my babies and had the two big ones on lead .. me running at full speed to thier trot .. forgot about the little dog running w/us .. she got somehow mid stride tangled in my feet .. I tripped and then tangled in the leads and brought my two babies down with me .. YIKES .. no pain except from laughing and the "give me a break .. what a clutz" expressions on my dogs faces!

one on my SIL .. she is so competitive .. and could not see how this itty bitty way to skinny girl w/no muscles was running at 7.5 mph ..she just knew the treadmill's speed was off .. like an idiot she jumps on BEHIND the girl (on the same treadmill) . . which in turns throws her butt first into the wall behind them .. NOW THAT was priceless!!!!:7

I'm with Laurie on the power 15's...in fact make that any move that involves the arms over the head. Let me explain why...
1. I have very low ceilings (probably 7 - 7'6" high)
2. I am 5'7" tall
3. 5'7" of Josie + 6" step + jumping while flailing arms in the air= OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!! I am currently nursing a fresh set of scraped knuckles. This happens every few months or so when I get a little too excited.

Also (recently) I was doing BM2 for the 1st time and did those side freakin' snow angel thingies. Um...yeah. Balance? What is this balance you speak of? One second I'm on my side, next on my a**. Any not gently either...POW!!! My booty still hurts :-(
Be careful everyone!!! LOL!!!

LauraMax

That is the funniest thing I've ever heard ...

I was in a yoga class once when a gentleman of a certain age let one rip while we were in warrior ...

everyone stayed very straight-facedx(

oh i thought of something else!

hubby and i were doing a spinervals... and i almost fell off my bike!!! i have no idea what i was doing or why i was going to fall... but he thought i was hilarious that i almost fell off a bike on a stationary trainer! he would have had a lot of mileage with that one had i actually "crashed"!

The workout: Imax 2 The Move: Fast feet shuffles. I tripped and ended up falling into a bookcase. This was after I thought I mastered that move....haha
