Happy 4th of July all you american ladies,

I took Rover out out for my warm up run:) It's actually good to teach us both how to run with a leash. It's just meant as a warm up for me and a pee/pooh for Rover, so all the stopping and getting him back besides my leg is not bothering me (maybe him). But people who see us run for 1 or 2 minutes than stop and run again must think I'm crazy. Especially since it was 06:30AM :)

After 30min. we were back home and I added on CTX UB. My, I'd forgotten how tough that one was. My biceps are still burning.

I'm enjoying my morning coffee now and I'll try to add P90X Ab Ripper later today.

BTW, my HRM tells me I have worked out 140hrs in the past 6 months and burned 40,998kcal. For the statistics, that's 5.3hrs per week, burning on average 292kcal/hour. (despite two weeks when I had a back injury early this year, one week with a knee injury in March and one week for the flu)
 
Good morning....I am heading about an hour from home to run a 5 mile race for July 4th. Meeting a bunch of friends there. Then a BBQ later, not sure if I'll watch the firworks tonight. I haven't done much speedwrok so don't know how I will do....but it should be fun...Have a great 4th ladies...:)...Carole
 
I just finished IMAX 2, too, Shelbygirl. :)

Great workout! It was the best way to start my day, now I'm ready for the festivities that will soon follow.

Everyone's Imax-ing today. :) I did 1 mile run w/ doggy +Imax2 Blast Mania + abs. I LOVE that DVD.
 
Well....I did surprise myself today in my 5 mile race. I do think P90X PlyoX really helped as I haven't done much speedwork and I got a 2nd place in my division (glad about turning 45 and getting into a new division!) and did about 10 sec slower than last year...41:08 about an 8:17 pace....I have done this race faster when I was in good running shape but I was very happy with the run today...:)...Carole

Carole, congrats on your race and and getting a hardware too -- wonderful time!

I did 20 min stairmaster today followed by PH-MIS-BM biceps and abs. You can tell, I was too lazy to change the DVD. I also did 30 min yoga at the end.

I did MIC. I was going to do Imax but decided I couldn't face interval 8 and its pain and horror today. MIC kicks my butt every time.
 
Well I have to say that my workout was not planned, but consisted of hide and seek tag, Spud, and jump roping with my kids, nieces and nephews and a few neighbor kids. Wow! This was about 3-4 hours of outdoor fun. Thanks to Cathe I can still jump rope red hot chili pepper.:eek: :7
