Working my way through my DVD collection...

While I wait for the new Cathe DVD's to come, I have been working my way through my collection of workouts. Every morning I select one at random, what ever I feel like doing that day and then set it aside and so I don't do the same one twice (if it has more than one workout on it, I keep it on the "to do" shelf so I can do them all). It is really fun and I have done some workouts that I haven't done in a long time. It is making the wait a little easier because now I want to get through as many DVD's as I can before I get the new ones. It sounds like it will be a few more weeks, so I may have time to do all of my workouts at least once (well, not STS!!) before the new ones get here. Anyone else doing this?

I have all of Cathe's workouts and at least a couple of hundred other dvd workouts. Several of them I have not done yet either. I also enjoy working my way through them. I
I like to make up a new rotaion every week. I incorporate Cathe's workouts and usually one or two other dvds.
Lots of FUN!

Yeah I'm doing this too. I've just started accumulating most of Cathe's DVd, except STS and Shock Cardio. There are alot of them that I haven't opened yet so I'm taking a little something from multiple rotations and doing what I'm in the mood for.

It's working out fine for me :)

With the exception of the compilation workouts, I have done all my Cathe workouts at least once.
A few years back I did what you are doing with my FIRM collection but instead I did them in order that they were release.
I would do 5 a week. There were about 70 workouts then so it took me about 3 months to do them all.
I can't imagine trying to do that with my Cathe workouts.

This sounds like a good idea, while I don't have all of Cathe's dvds, I tend to use the same ones over and over again. Melissa

I might do this for fall and winter. It will definitely bring to light how many DVD's I have (over 200, I know, but how much more? ) and maybe help me clear out those I really won't use any more (if I keep bypassing certain wokrouts in favor of others, maybe those first ones need to get cleared out)/

This, ladies, is the fitness equivalent of shopping your closet during lean budgetary times!

Go for it, see what oldies but goodies you can uncover! I have so many DVDs never even tried out, it is disgraceful!

Have fun,

Clare

I'm kind of doing the same thing right now while I'm in between finishing STS and waiting for Cathe's new DVDs. Yesterday, I did Karen Voigt's Ultimate Step Workout (I think it used to be called Cardio Strength). A few years ago, this used to be "the hard one". Yesterday, I didn't even have to open my mouth for a single breath! So cool!! (Thanks, Cathe!)

I still have a few of Cathe's workouts to do for the first time, so I'm intending to do those during the next few weeks.
