working legs and running

I am preparing for a 10K and run every other day. the days in between I am lifting weights...UB, LB, full body. With the running, should I still do a leg workout?
 
Yes, I think you should continue the lower body workouts. As you get closer to your 10K, maybe back off on the weight but I still wouldn't stop completely. It will help with your endurance and help you power thru the rough spots like hills and inclines.
 
Cathe just answered this in the Ask Cathe forum the other day! I think, if I remember correctly, she said to do full body endurance type workouts. Gosh, I can't remember anything anymore! If you check there, you should be able to find it and see if I have that right.
