working 2 body parts with ctx

Cathe, you say that you can work 2 body parts/day with ctx. Does this mean that you would do 2 entire tapes, or just cardio portion of 1 tape with weight training for 2 muscle groups? A couple of the tapes are shorter, about 45 minutes, and I feel guilty if I don't work out for at least an hour!

thanks,

Just do the upper body parts 2 x's a week, not the cardio. On a day you do Step intervals (45 min), for example, just add the triceps from 10-10-10. They are 15 min. long so your workout ends up being 1 hour! Here is what I did, it worked great for me!
Sat. Step Intervals Chest/Shoulders from All Step
Sun. Power Circuit/Back/Biceps from Kickbox
Mon. 10-10-10 Triceps/Chest from Step Intervals
Tue. Kickbox Biceps/Back from Power Circuit
Wed. All Step Shoulders/Triceps from 10-10-10
Thu. Leaner Legs
Fri. Rest
You can mix it up anyway you want, I just preferred to work my upper body in this order. Have fun!

Thanks jillybean!

I've tried combining 2 entire CTX tapes, and have also been using several other Cathe tapes, but because of the length of the workouts I actually ended up overtraining and had to take time off to recover. Now I have been trying to be very careful about not trying to do too much. I think the killer was MIS and MIC in 1 session!

Oh I can't believe you lived to talk about that exprience! I like doing MIC Hi/Lo MIS Lower body on one day and then MIC Step MIS Upper body the next day. NEVER ALL AT ONCE! Just kidding. Glad you took time off and listened to your body!
