<---says to Robin, it's hard when cats start to do that, but once a cat urinates or sprays they don't stop, unless whatever it is they are soiling gets removed completely, such as carpeting, make sure they are spayed and neutered, or let them start going outdoors.
<---not sure if your cats are inside cats or not, but in <-- experience my calico, urinated in different spots, even in the laundry basket, grrrr, <-- get so upset with her at times which led us to the vet and he told us, after we had her checked physically, that some cats weren't mean't to be confined, some breeds don't mind being inside cats, but others crave the fresh air and space, etc. So with great hesitancy we let her out, (made sure she knew the sound of clinking dishes for her kitty food, so she'd come in for the night, threw out the area rugs, and he was right, she stopped urinating everywhere.
<---cats really are finicky, independant creatures, you can never tell what's bothering them
