Wish me luck

I'm going to start WW on Monday. Not joining it or anything, doing it at home. I did WW before and did great on it so I'm going to do it again. Since I"m breastfeeding I wanted to follow something easy and with WW all you do is add 10 points to your total daily points. As you decrease the feedings, you just decrease your extra points. I'm 3 weeks post-partum and I feel great so I'm also going to resume exercising on Monday too. Slowly of course. I've got about 30+lbs to lose. I've lost almost all of my pregnancy weight but I gained about 15lbs during last year's holiday season and then got pregnant at the end of December. I'm really excited and I've already written out my menus for the week.

Wish me luck ~ I"ll be joining you all on the daily postings. :)

good luck dana, you seem to have planned things out well and set reasonable goals. congrats on your little one as well.

Good luck!! I love your ticker too--it's very motivating to see all these weight tickers you all have.

Good luck !

My daughter lost 26 lbs on WW this summer on Core. ITs a WONDERFUL program.

Agree love you weight ticker :)

Dana,

You don't need luck; you sound like you've got it all under control. I'm in the exact same situation as you are. I have 25 pounds to lose, and would like to do it following the WW plan for nursing women. Like you, I lost weight with WW a few years ago, so I plan to just pick it up again on my own. I sort of started doing that this past week, but haven't stuck with it the last couple of days. Kate will be 4 weeks old tomorrow, and I'm also breastfeeding. It really makes you hungry, doesn't it? I started exercising again at 2 weeks post partum, and am happy to report that I haven't lost much of my fitness levels. It's amazing how much easier my workouts feel without the big pregnancy belly!!

How's Gannon? How are you doing?

Keep us posted on how you're doing!

Sandra, Gannon is an absolute joy. He is such a good baby. So far just sleeps, gets a diaper change, eats and is content sitting on my lap. He doesn't cry much. Gets up about 3-4 times a night to feed. Such a different baby then my first was.

I"m doing good - and yes the bf makes me soooo hungry.

LOL i would eat while i was breastfeeding. always had some animal cookies and apple juice next to me, and i munched a bit while feeding. maybe that's why viola loves apple juice so much LOL
