What an unexpected pleasant surprise this new smoothie turned out! YUM!!!

4 oz cooked yam
12 oz 8 cont light soy milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tbs natural peanut butter

So creamy and rich, perfect after workout drink!
 
Sounds yummy!
I'd add a sprinkle of cinnamon to make it like a fall smoothie treat!

I just tried PB in my morning smoothie the other day. I was surprised at how good it was.
 
I made one similar to this with just the frozen sweet potato, van pro powder and skim milk and it was sooo good and creamy. I'll have to try adding the PB... but not any time soon, I'm just coming off a PB high after a two day binge on the stuff!!:p
 
Oh, I'm going to try this today! I love yams and I love peanut butter! Actually I'll try this for my mid-morning treat. Thanks!

Phillis, I've just bought this new powder in Whole Foods Market. But it is just so insanely yummy that I've ordered some more.

It is the "iron-tek vanilla cake" -- 100% whey. Best protein powder I've bought in ten years.

1 serving has:
120 cal
2 gr fat
4 gr carbs
3 gr sugar
22 gr protein
