Is anyone planning on going too this movie when released December 2006? me...me...me...maybe not on XMAS day, but I have been waiting for it to hit :p :9

Will Smith's son looks adorable in this movie and I hear he steals scenes from his dad which I think is neat.

I'm really looking forward to this movie, too. I'm hungry for some uplifting entertainment for a change.

This movie is based on the real life of Chris Gardner. I've seen him on several interviews over the years and he seems like a really neat guy--very impressive!

ETA that I went to see For Your Consideration this weekend and it was truly awful -- surprising for a Christopher Guest movie. I usually love this ensemble cast but this movie is a real stinker. Actually, I think they've steadily gone downhill since Best in Show, which is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
 
I saw the preview the the theatre Friday night - I told my husband, "I'm already crying!" Looks really good!
 
Yes, it's at the top of my list! I'm a little worried though because the ads show just one "rave" by one critic of a small newspaper, so I'm wondering if all the critics dislike it since they haven't published any other excerpts from reviews? I don't really care what the critics say though, it looks like the perfect Christmas movie...
 
This is on my MUST see list along with Eragon, Charlotte's Web, We Are Marshall, and Night at the Museum. It has been a while since I've wanted to go see a movie at the movies. Lovin' December's line up!

I've put this one on my Netflix queue already. Since I expect it to be a real tear-jerker, I think I'll wait to see it in the privacy of my own home rather than be a sobbing idiot in the movie theater.:p
 
When we went to see Casino Royale in the theatre, there was a preview for this. I said to my DH that they probably found the world's cutest kid to make it more heart-wrenching. I had no idea he was Will Smith's kid! And Jada Smith is his Mom. No wonder he's so gorgeous!! He has the face of a little angel.
