Why do endurance strength training?

If it doesn't build nice sculpty muscles, which burn more calories for me, why do it? I know there's got to be a benefit, just would like to know, maybe I'll add it in. Thanks.

Working out isn't all for looks . . . at least not for me.

Working for endurance allows us to go about our daily life activities without giving out as quickly. You can lift your child more often, you can sweep more, you can carry in more groceries, do more gardening . . . and so on.

I can't win a race on speed, but I'll go toe-to-toe with anyone on how long I could keep moving before I drop! If I just looked good and had to sit around and watch life pass me by, what good would it be?

Not cathe here... but similar to what Kim said, endurance training allows your muscles to lift heavier weights when you go back to strength training. They are able to "endure" heavier weight
