Just to clarify, somehow over the last year I got interested in Angel the TV series. There have been some references to Angel killing Darla (a female/vampire character). Without having to get involved with watching Buffy (Angel is a spin off show), I just thought I would ask. I have seen some references to Buffy watchers here.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok! i love vampire movies... so i probably woulda liked buffy (and angel) but somehow missed getting in at the beginning.... (did the same with "lost" which is apparently another good show!)

400 or so years ago before she died of syphilis the big guy sired her. She was all vamped out and causing havoc with Angelus. Fast forward to the Buffy years, Angel killed her (so I hear). Then fast forward again to the Angel spin off => Wolfram & Hart brings her back to life with some demon ritual. She comes back as a human than she's vamped out by Drusila before she dies of syphilis again. In a later episode she shows up preggers with Conner. That's when she kills herself so Conner could be born.
