Ok, even though I WISH I could give them away, I guess I can't!! That being the awful case, I need some advice.....

Today I dedided no more messing around...I am going to lay off weights and do a cardio blast. Saw a glimpse of myself in the mirror at Sports Authority and I swear...I look exactly like a powerlifter!!! Don't need anymore muscle..I need to get the fat off!! So....

TO ALL THE BIG BREASTED WOMEN ON THIS FORUM, OR TO ANYONE ELSE THAT MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP IN THIS MATTER..

I need to get a extremely heavy duty sports bra. We are talking supporting 38 DD's here. I did a search and found the suggestion for Title9sports.com, which was GREAT, but I need personal advice on which bras REALLY work. Right now I have a Champion Action Shape, which is OK, but I am sick of them and they keep falling apart. Anybody try the ENELL'S..Faythe????. I tried to do the bra fitting test..my rib cage is 33 and the fullest part of my breasts is 39 1/2....anybody know what size this would make me?? I am trying to order off the internet, but it is saying I am a 38 B. And we KNOW that is not the case, but I do not want to buy the wrong size.

Any info on good bras and how they fit would be appreciated. I want NO MOVEMENT of the breasts..for very high impact, like IMAX or running....thanks guys...Janice

My Husband would take your breast.I would never get him out of bed again....lol, other then that I can't answer any questions.Beleive me, that is one problem I don't have.i think I could get away with out wearing a bra

LAST EDITED ON Jul-14-02 AT 03:20PM (Est)[p]lol. I am the one to ask, I have had breast woe's for years. (since 3rd grade). This is what I do. I was up to 40H, now thank God, I am down to (still large) 34/36 DDD Or E in some brands. I found for low impact (walking, weights) I use a regular sprot bra with suportive regular bra underneith and it works well. I can finally wear a sport bra outdoors like eveyone else. I use the "decreasing bra's I got from Bali" takes off a few inches.
For hi-impact I use regretably Enell. I had horrible service, but they work. They use the make them flat theory. Hey it works. I have the same 3 I had since I was larger and they have been taken in sooo many times, they look funny, but still work to some degree. They are expensive so I am waiting til I'm a DD again (which should be soon, almost there) and I will buy more in that size. Also Title 9 Sports looks like they have some possibilities but for DD not DDD, so when I'm DD I will try them. They also have Enells, but they don't call it Enell, so Enell must be allowing them to be sold under another name. (check out page 37 in the Title Nine Sports catalog). I would go with at least one of them for support when jumping, steping, running, etc. I'd try some of those sport bras that aren't the pretiest in Title 9 and see.pages 32 - 35) They are less than the Enells. You may be able to jump in those as well. I found inline skating elivates my heart rate and no need to jump. It's good for full figured gals ;-)
byw: check out Bali (www.onehanesplace.com) They will send you a catalog too. They have a great sale, buy 3 get 1 free. You wont believe the prices, compared to what I usually have to pay for large bras. There are some good one's for DD (even DDD), I am so happy with them.
Bali 3382 minimizer and Bali 3562 minimizer.
If you have any more questions, ask away. Oh, about the size issue, if you call Enell, they will go over the size with you, and biggals.com (had bad customer service with them, great when buying but bad for returns, so know what you want before ordering) they have a size chart on their website. As far as the bra's falling apart, I make a seperate load just for my bra's in the gentle cycle daily and hang them to dry. They get more use that way, and fall apart less.

Title9 sports has something called the frog bra. I read lots of Firmies rave about it so I tried to order one. Customer service was really good and the rep suggested the TADPOLE bra ( which I found really funny at the time because the bra was usually used for the plyo jumps in the firm cardios )... The woman said that the FROG bra was really good but was hard to get out of. Since I did hope to remove it after working out I got the amazing TADPOLE instead. It is a compression bra with a wide back and thick straps. It's rather unattractive and reminds me of grandma.
I look at it and make myself wear it when I know it's Hi impact day. OK...It's INCREDIBLY UGLY. But it works well. They should have called it the Ugly duckling bra.

There's one other place you can check out. I forgot to mention it in my last post. I think this link will be very helpful to you. (For DD and above.) All about Bras and Sport Bras. I'd say many are for over sea's, but some are in the US. As far as buying them in a local store, good luck with finding any with support for hi-impact

I agree with the Frog bra choice. I also like Road Runner Sports bras for larger chests...but they may not be quite big enough for you. I wear a DD and even though it's called C/D, they work great. But, also, again, there's the getting out of them that is really hard after you've sweat in them. You feel like a contortionist.

Thanks so much everyone. I did visit Title9sports.com and just bit the bullet and purchased 3 of their most supportive bras. I really like to be hiked up there, so I had to make sure I went with the ones described for the DD's. One of them looks just like the Champion Action Shape bra I have now, so I figure at the very worst, that one will fit and I will have to send the rest back. Couldn't really figure out my REAL size, cuz I guess my body just didn't fit the measurement scales, cuz it sure kept coming up that I was a B cup. So, since I hate too tight bras, I ordered 38 DD, which will probably be too big now that I think about it some more... you know how you can go down a cup size sometimes if you go up a band measurement?? I am probably more like a 36 DD, but I figure it is full money back so oh well.

Beats bra shopping for sure!! That always reduces me to tears!!! Still thinking about the Enell bra. Faythe..didn't have the catalog so couldn't use your item numbers to compare, but i did order a catalog. Thanks for all your specifics..they really helped....Janice
