Who here has lost 20 lbs or more using Cathe and healthy eating?

Who here has lost 20 lbs or more using Cathe and healthy eating? I need to lose 35 lbs; and I want to get into shape.
Please tell me what eating plan you followed (or whatever your eating habits were at the time).

Thanks!

Hi,
Last December ( just about a year ago today..) I decided to lose the twenty some odd pounds I had gained over the year. Basically, I ran, kickboxed ( cathe's tapes and a club workout) did spin class, and used Cathe's BootCamp/Gauntlet/HSTA workouts in conjunction with the Pyramid and PS series weight workouts. I ate well ( a combination of lean proteins and whole grains and veggies and fruits) and I ate often! I aimed to lose a pound a week and it came off by May! Really, it is simply for most of us a math problem....eat less move more. Good Luck~dmd:)

RE: Who here has lost 20 lbs or more using Cathe and he...

Hi there.

I lost 40 lbs (still working on that last 5-10) after the birth of my 5th child. (That's not counting the first 25 lbs or so that comes off in the first two weeks--if you count that its more like 65 lbs.)

I use Cathe 6 days a week, inserting rest weeks every 10-12 weeks. I split my time pretty evenly between weights and cardio.

I'm a calories in/calories out person also. I try to watch portion sizes and get plenty of fruits and veggies. I don't eat low carb, but try to make sure I get enough protein during the day, because I tend not to get enough. I love high calorie foods and I love to cook and bake, so the weight would probably come off faster if I did not have these weaknesses, but even so, it has come off.

Best of luck in your efforts and keep us posted.

Maggie:)

I lost 25 pounds with Cathe workouts (strted with The Firm) and better eating in 2001-2002 and it has stayed off. Occasionally I have to get back in high gear because it has a way of creeping back up. I am now reading The Maker's Diet, and along with other education this is helping me order my life and my family's meals better.

I want to live a balanced life and enjoy food and exercise and everything else. Even though I know this earth is not heaven, never promised a rose garden ;) still, some decisions are better than others and those are what I am after.

Best wishes to you. If you are willing to sacrifice you will get there, and with an attitude of willingness, at least in my experience, you will find the journey much more fun than you expect!

Merry Christmas and have a memorable and fun 2005!

-Connie
