Okay Guys,

Who else has been sick for the past month?

I think stress has played a major role in me catching every single lung rot and gut bug coming and going this year, but for crying out loud - give me a break! I had a gut bug earlier this year that landed me in the ER, and then I had another one about 2 months ago that nearly did the same thing. I've had sinus infections and nausea on and off, but then I got sick about two weeks ago with a head cold body aching thing, and thought I kicked it. Then DH got sick with strep (arrgh!) and last night my throat felt like it was swollen and was killing me. Today I'm hacking and coughing and had to leave work for MORE antibiotics.

Needless to say, I have not worked out for many moons....feeling lousy and fat and friendless...(ho hum)...

Let's see, my son was sick from mid-October until ... well, he's still coughing! My daughter caught a cold that lasted for weeks. I had pneumonia for a month, and now my husband has something that has knocked him out (fever, fatigue, chills). At least one member of the family has been sick at any given time since September, and usually more than that.

I missed half of my November workouts (during Thanksgiving -- yikes!) ... I counted -- I did only 13 out of 26 workouts that month.

It's been such a bad year for it, and the flu hasn't even hit our area yet!

I hope you feel better soon. Many of us can really sympathize!

I had what I thought was a weird bug two weeks prior to sinus surgery on 10/10. Then it turned out I also had a sinus infection, which I still have, even after the post-surgery antibiotics. My regular doctor just put me on some high-powered antibiotics (which are really helping with that) and I'm seeing the surgeon again in the morning just to make sure there wasn't some weird surgical complication. But this bug.... it's ebbed and flowed (right now it's taming down) but it's never really gone away.

At least I finally got my flu shot.

I've just lost my bragger's rights for going almost 2 years without a cold :-( It hasn't hit me too hard but no sleep and lots of dry coughs last night. I'm all about the pharmaceuticals tonight, a hot cup of Neo Citran, some cough syrup and lights out! I bailed on my workout today, not good with all of the chocolates, spiced nuts and treats surrounding me. I'm gonna knock this sucker of a cold OUT (she said hopefully)

I was sick with a chest/head cold for a month and as soon as I started to feel better from that I got a 24 hour stomach virus! I just got better last week but still have a battle wound to show for it that hasn't healed yet (a cold sore-UGH!). I am taking Airborne every morning now as a defense from catching anything else! I am soooo done with being sick!
