Who Avoids Floorwork?

I just can't stand to do floor work. I feel like it is a waste of time. Also, some days I have split the standing and floor parts. The days I do the floor, I hardly feel like I did anything at all. Can people please tell me if I am missing out by avoiding floor work or why I can skip it without feeling guilty? Thanks, Melissa

I can't stand the floor work where you are on all fours. I would rather repeat some other parts. I don't mind any other floorwork. I don't know about if you are missing out but I wouldn't feel guilty if you are doing everything else.

I don't do it because i smply can't handle it at this time. I guess when my legs get stronger then I can do those hip lift bent leg things. That seems to go on forever. I have been doing fine with just standing routines. The results are showing too.

I LOVE the floorwork! I have a bad hip and lunges and squats are always modified, so I feel like I can really push myself harder when I do floorwork.
In fact I include the floorwork portion of B&G once a week along with another Cathe leg workout once a week--I use 5 pound ankle weights.
It feels like floorwork enables you to concentrate on really sculpting those troublesome areas!:) without the cardio factor kicking in like it does with lunges, squats, leg presses,etc...but you have to do these too for a well rounded workout.

I have a love/hate relationship with all four floorwork. Ugh.... it's tough, but it's so good for you. I always do the floorwork, but I don't always use ankle weights.

I also really like floorwork, especially roll ins with the ball and inner thigh work with the ball, and the band work, and the...;)

I gotta admit as earlier, I avoid floorwork like the plague. I guess that's why I should do it. So I did all of B&G's yesterday and man oh man I am sore today. I think it was from the floorwork! I will force myself to do it now because I think it gives me a better push. It is different for me so my body is responding. Thanks for the post it pushed me outta that comfort zone!

For me, floorwork used to be like brussel sprouts and turnip, I knew it was good for me but, man! x( Tough to get it done! I used to bail regularly on PS Legs floorwork and can count on one hand how many times I've done PLB floorwork. Legs and Glutes was a turning point for me and slowly I've come to not hate floorwork. I quite like the B&G floorwork, I can tell when I'm in the moment that it is doing very good things for me.

Take Care
Laurie:)
