I have just discovered this wonderful resource.I have just begun the "Pure Strength" series but now I am not sure if it is the workout for me.Don't get me wrong I love it but wasn't sure if it was the right set of videos for my goals at this time.I am still about 50 lbs overweight so I am still working hard to lose the pounds.I am very limited in the space I have to exercise because I am an "over the road" truck driver who does 5 days of her exercising inside the truck.I have modified the moves in the videos to fit in my confined space and I also have a Schwinn Recumbant bike that I ride daily for at least 30 minutes. I use a heartrate monitor so I am able to keep my heart elevated to 120 to 135 beats.Any suggestions to aid in my weightloss success would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Vicki!

Wow, thats great that you are so dedicated to your workouts. I admire your efforts to find ways to make your fitness workouts effective while you are on the road(in a truck no less). You will do great with the PS series in addition to your cardiovascular workouts. Weight lifting enhances your aerobic efforts by boosting your metabolism. It also provides you with more lean muscle mass, better posture, and a better proportioned physique. Aside from understanding that your body has its own unique set of genetics(that will greatly influence your overall potential with all of your fitness endeavors), the most important ingredients that you will need to help reach your fitness goals are: 1)The PS series(and/or other strength training programs), 2)your biking program(and/or a variety of other aerobic activities, if possible), 3)a well balanced, low fat, healthy diet, 4)a healthy attitude, 5)focus and determination(which you have already proven to possess). Good Luck!

WAY TO GO !!!

I just have to say I find your story INCREDIBLY motivational! Any body who says they don't have time for fitness just needs to look you up ! THANKS!!!

Very grateful for the encouragement

Every once in a while a pat on the back is all you need to keep going. I do appreciate the good words. Thank you again.
