Which video is best for a beginner?

I've just recently started aerobics and strength training and was wondering what Cathe videos are best for beginners? I've noticed alot of Cathe's videos are advanced but I am far from being advanced. I am very overweight (266 pounds) so I need something that's going to give me a good workout but not kill me in the process.

Thats going to be a tough one.Cause even now I think some of Cathes videos are going to kill me.You may be best starting out with one of the CTX series.
Either way, whatever you buy,you are going to have to learn all the moves and build yourself up to eventually do the whole video.
When I started with Cathe , I bought Body MAx.Didn't take me to long to catch on but I had to do a section at a time.There are 3 sections in the video:) .But you don't want to own a video and get it right away either.You need to challenge yourself and have something to work towards.
Anyway, hopefully someone else can help you with this to.Why don't you try Cardio and Weights, or one of the kick boxing workouts
:) It's going to be hard to find one with not much impact and intensity but like I said, work yourself up.

Hi Stephanie!

As Lori said, no Cathe vid is easy. Cathe is considered an advanced instructor. I would say for a beginner that "MegaStepBlast" and the "Wedding" video would be about two of the "EASIER" step tapes to start with. You will see that there will be parts you might still need to modify but it will give you something to work towards. For strength training, I started with "Max. Intensity Strength" and The "Pure Strength" series. Either would be great if you can only afford one. Good Luck, let us know what you decide and WELCOME!!!:D
