Which is the day off?

I know my office is going to be closed one day for Christmas, but I forgot to check which day. What is your office doing? Closing on Friday or Monday? Thanks.

We are closed on Monday for both Christmas and New Years.

I luck out this year. We are closed both Friday and Monday for Christmas. Then we are closed Friday afternoon and all day Monday for New Year's.

However, we need time off----we are an accounting firm so after the New Year we'll be working hideous amounts of hours to make up for it.

For us, holidays that fall on a sunday are observed on monday.

We close from 12/23-1/2! How cool is that? Of course, only 4 days of that is paid holidays, but I take my remaining vacation days to get paid for the rest. So I'm off 12/22 and and come back on 1/3.

We get two holidays, because we have Boxing Day, which y'all don't observe. So we get Monday AND Tuesday. And my office closes at noon on December 23rd and doesn't reopen until Tuesday, January 3rd, and I don't have to use any vacation

HB, I think I missed something. If your business is closed, why do you need to use some vacation days? But then, I'm in a drugged out haze here, so forgive me for not getting it.
