Which is better??

Hi ladies,

Which do you think is better.

All Cardio 3 days a week and then Cardio/Weights the other 3 days

or

All Cardio for 3 days and then all weights for the other 3 days.

The workouts would be staggered of course. If you do cardio all 6 days does that help the weight loss?


I'm starting to build my routines for at home (my gym membership ends in July FINALLY!!!). I need to lose 10-15 pounds and want to build some definition in my upper body (plus lose that nasty inner thigh fat). This week I'm doing the cardio and cardio/weights thing.

Buildilng muscle will also help with fat loss as it increases your metabolism. I would do 3 days of interval training cardio and 3 days of weights.

I'd probably go for the three days cardio and three days weights myself. I like to get every body part in at least twice a week, otherwise I just don't keep the results I want. So, for example, you could do upper body one day, lower one day, and a full body workout the third day. Now, if you have gobs of time and want to add cardio after your weights were done, go for it.
