Which DVD is best without a step?

I need some advice.......

I have almost all of Cathe's tapes in VHS and use them religiously in my basement. I want to be able to workout upstairs in my living room on these cold winter mornings (basement has no heat x( ). I have a DVD player only upstairs, so my problem is this......if I am to get a Cathe DVD which one would be easiest to do without a step? I don't have much room and I'm not sure I could get my step situated and have the room I need.

Has anybody else used Cathe's tapes without a step? Which ones work the best?

Thanks, Marcia :)

Hi Marcia,

I have Body Max on DVD and I was doing this workout without a step - and it is challenging - well to me it was. I guess, that with slight modifications you can do a step workout without the step.

Take care,

Marcia,

The Boot Camp/Muscle Endurance DVD might be a good choice. Boot Camp doesn't require a step, and it's a tough workout, as I found out last weekend!

Also, the Cardio Kicks/Circuit Max combo might be another choice. I haven't done Circuit Max yet, but I understand that the cardio in it is split between hi-lo, kickbox and step. I have done Cardio Kicks, although it's been a while. As I recall, there's one part that requires a lot of space (more than I have). Cathe is doing a box pattern, but if you modify by just moving back and forth, it should be fine. Cathe even makes a comment that those who don't have enough room should just put more intensity into the move.

I think Rhythmic Step might work also, and it's a lot of fun. What does anyone else think?

I hope that helps!

Also consider the CTX DVD; it has a lot of kickbox and hi/lo. Travelling moves are easy to modify: just march in place, do calf-pumps, jumping jacks, power hops or plyo jacks during the travelling moves.

Personally I can't really picture getting much benefit from a step-less step routine, but that's just me.

If you didn't order the BB, how about KP&C&Legs&Glute. I just preview the Kick Punch & Crunch and you don't need a step and also It really dosen't take up much roon either.

I would second the KPC/L&G DVD from the Body Blast series. Neither have a step and they are my favorite workouts from the BB series. But if you want a full body workout, I would get Bootcamp/Muscle Endurance. I have very very little space in my apartment and don't own a step, so these will work for you as well.

I agree.....BootCamp/Muscle Endurance dvd and the Kick Punch & Crunch/Legs & Glutes dvd would be your best bet.
