Which are used most?

Hi all--

I'm sloooowllly building up my Cathe collection and would really like to try one of her rotations. Anal though it sounds, I'd like to NOT substitute. So my question is, has anyone noticed particular workouts that are use more regularly in the rotations? In other words which are the ones to add that would be most likely to show up in a rotation?

Hi Julie,

The ones I would definitely get that show up a lot are:

Kick, Punch & Crunch/Legs & Glutes - KPC shows up a lot. L&G is a great leg workout and this DVD is great because it has 23 premixes and a workout blender so you can make your own workout.

Pyramid Upper and Lower Body - a great 2 day split

The Gym Styles - great 3 day split. Best split series IMO.

Cardio Kicks/Circuit Max - Cardio Kicks seems to show up quite frequently. Circuit Max doesn't show up a lot but is a great circuit workout. Although this one isn't chaptered as well as the ones above.

Step, Jump & Pump/Step Blast - another great one from the Body Blast series that has numerous premixes and the workout blender.

Core Max and Stretch Max - Each of these has 3 separate workouts. Core Max has one without equipment, one with a stability ball and one with a medicine ball plus 3 premixes. Stretch Max's 3 workouts include one without equipment, one with the ball and one with a resistance band (no premixes).

You should know that each time a new series comes up, those DVDs will be used more in the rotations. For instance, November's rotation will be mostly the 4-day split and maybe a couple of other workouts like Core Max and Stretch Max or maybe an extra cardio workout.

Well, that should be enough to get you started.

Thanks so much, Marcy--

I actually have KPC/L&G and just ordered the Gym Styles. I also pre ordered the new series, but appreciate the other suggestions.

Thanks again.

Julie, you can't go wrong with the Gym Styles workouts. That was a great purchase. Also, do you have Step, Jump & Pump/Step Blast? This is a must have, IMO. They pop up quite a bit. Also, I have a feeling we'll see a lot more of the previous series- Drill Max, LIC, BM2 and Butts and Gutts. Great stuff in that series.

Thanks, Deanna--

I have all the previous series except Butts and Gutts. I don't have Step, Jump Pump/Step Blast, but was sort of eying it for my next purchase.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

I used to sub Legs & Glutes for Butts & Guts when called for in the rotations. Finally bought B&G, though. It has more Core work (which I desperately need).

Hi-- I saw this question and I just had to add the when I really want a great workout, but don't feel like dragging out all of the weights and supplies, I do Low Max. This workout is great for cardio and lower body. You really feel like you got something accomplished when you do this workout and the step routines are short and easy to learn.
