Actually, the new WFN workouts that aren't "Kickbutt" (the other six) sound like good functional fitness workouts, that also include some restorative/prehab exercises. They would be excellent for recovery weeks.
They also would be good for someone who doesn't want Cathe-type intensity all the time (for them, it may not be a "lighter day," but the level at which they choose to workout).
FYI: the workouts in the "kicbutt" series (6) are all mostly remakes of Fitprime workouts. They have new leads for some of them, but I'm not sure how much has changed choreography-wise.
