Whew..Imax after 5+ mo. hiatus

Hi All,

I'm feeling rather down with myself this morning. I decided to do Imax today which I haven't done in 5+ months (Been so busy with the newer DVD's). Anyway, I really struggled through the whole thing and couldn't even finish #10x( I used an 8" step and wondered if that had any impact since I've been using 6" with the newer workouts (plus I'm only 5' 3/4"). I used to be able to complete this one...certainly not as well as Cathe...but did all the intervals without feeling like I was going to die! It is just humbling to put aside a workout that you can complete and try it months later only to find that it is like you are doing it for the first time. I have to admit Imax and I have a love/hate relationship but I'm adding it back in and I'm going to "nail" it or else......!

Thanks for letting me vent :)

Good for you for adding it back in.

As much as I love Cathe's other cardio workouts, I-Max The Original remains the gold standard for intensity for me. To me it's a true training workout. I do it every other Sunday.

You'll be surprised how quickly you get it back, JJ!

Hi JJ!

I have a feeling that you are just having a 'not up to par' day and the next time you pop in Imax you will feel much better!

Great attitude!

Thank you A-Jock & Kandy. I just knew my friends here would understand and make me feel better:) I guess I was just surprised with how tough it felt especially since I have been doing Imax2 on a regular basis. IMHO the original Imax is definitely the most difficult and intense Cathe workout. I plan on doing it again next week so we'll see what happens.....
