Where's the dish on Desperate Housewives?

I can't believe no one has posted on this yet!! It was hilarious when Edie plunked her few piano notes that she knew!

No one at work agrees with me, but I think that the man in the basement IS the husband, but the "boy" is not her son, he is her lover.

What were your favorite parts?

I loved Lynette and how she got back at her boss. I think Lynette will be running the company pretty soon. I loved the scene with Bree and the kids at the dinner table.

What was with the previews, is Susan going to look for Zach now after she made this big deal about not wanting to be around him. Guess we'll see next week.

Oh spilling that coffee was BRILLIANT.

I hate it when my captive gets out of the basement!!!!!! That was too funny but I was bummed that they spoiled it in the previews. That is one that they should not have shown.

Hmmmm....I think the pharmacist is a little lovey dovey with Bree! Yikes, the lie detector test- what a snake.

Melissa

I still chuckle at Gabrielle's line, "John Rowland loved me. No he really did, let me count the ways. Um gently, savagly, frequently, upside down."

:D  :D :p

I thought it was a great show! I can't wait for next week. Where does Susan get all her clothes? I LOVE her clothes! Those little tops she wears are so cute!!!

I find that they do this more and more with movies: show clips of what should be kept suspenseful until you actually see the movie, or tell too much about it on the cover. There have been a couple of movies I rented that I didn't really read the cover blurb for. I really enjoyed them. But when I finally read the blurb on the cover, it would have spoiled the movie for me because it revealed too much.

I love susans clothes to but she is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to skinny! When she was walking to edies house to get her daugther, DH was like, man she is way to skinny.
I taped it and watched it last night.DH is even starting to enjoy it.He said it reminds him of Melrose place.
Lori:)

Lori, it's funny that you said that Dh is starting to like this show. For me Dh was the one that started watching it first and then had me watch it with him. Now we both sit there on the couch every Sunday night and see what's happeneing on Westeria Lane!

Kathy

There was a picture of her recently jogging in shorts. Her legs are like sticks, but I think she is just naturally skinny. She looks great in evening gowns though.

Kathy

Yeah, but I think Gabrielle (Eva) as always been small , were as Susan, I can remember when she as on Superman about 10 yrs ago and she wasn't that small. But in mags she as been known to have an eating disorder, now, I don't know if this is true or not but the pics sort of prove it.
DH was trying to fall asleep last night when it was on, but he kept turning his head and watching the t.v. To funny!
Lori:)

I'm with you, I loooved that scene. I also loved the hair comment. I've actually had female bosses be that way when their male boss understands taking care of kids. (Not to knock all female bosses; my male bosses had their issues, too.)

I want Lynette get promoted over that woman. Lynette's too crafty to fire her, but she'll make her life interesting.

Am I the only one that was appalled that Lynette would deliberately burn someone? It wasn't even an impulsive move - she had to keep banging the table to intentionally knock the steaming coffee on her boss.

That place where she works isn't so great anyway - look at the way the employees were fooling around with the video equipment and the head boss was so distracted during Lynette's interview and more interested in making a basket with his garbage. It doesn't look like it would mean much to move up in that environment.

The way she looked when she saw how badly the woman was burnt showed she felt bad about it. I think either she's going to give up the "survival of the fittest" lifestyle of big business, or she's going to be sucked into it.

I think that bree is the one that is skin and bones. she looks gaunt and her face looks harsh. She is so pretty but she has definitely lost too much weight. I think Gabrielle looks good because she is petite and looks okay being a little thin.

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

I swear when the man from the basement came out through the door I got so scared because I was not expecting it.
