Where to go for shoe fitting??

I had read several posts about getting a shoe fitted through an expert. Anyone who has done this,would u pls tell me whr I can find information abt who does this and how much this costs. Im looking for both aerobic as well as running shoes. Thanks,

I'm from Kansas so I would probably be of little help. But I do go to a specialty shoe store for both my running and aerobic shoes. I suggest doing search on the internet for specialty Shoe Stores in your area and then call around and find out what they have to offer. Runnersworld.com may be a great place to begin your search.

If you get a good caring person at foot locker, you can get a really good fitting as well. They'll tell you what size you need in both women's and men's and kid's depending on the size of your foot. As will as the width, and how long the arch is. Which really helps in finding shoes. Unless your like me and got tiny feet, and then it's a matter of what they have or can order for you. But at least you'll get the measurements and can shop around, if you don't find anything you like. And even some stores on the web list arch height, so that is really helpful as well.
