Hey, Wendy, how ya doing? I can't believe that Joey is rolling! That is so exciting! Did he go from back to tummy or tummy to back? I wish that DS was only rolling now, he is a terror and gets into everything!

He went from his back to his belly. He was on the floor on a blankie and I walked out of the room to do something...I come back and what do ya know!? I was sooo mad that I missed it but when I saw him I made a big fuss! :+

I have stopped looking for now...I talked to DH and will probably go retail on nights and weekends but not yet because he thinks he's about to go on a big o/t job so I need to be around to take care of Joey while he works the extra hours.

I went to the quiz site and it was a whole bunch of quizzes...I took a couple but didn't post the results cause I didn't know which ones you and Lori had done. If ya tell me which ones, I'll take them specifically and post the results.:)

I also took the perfect couple test. I got Brad and Jen. I guess that I am so perfect that noone would understand how someone could break up with me. :p

And the alchohol test. I am a snobby, snooty bottle of wine who loves Shakespeare.

I work in the nursery--yes--the one in my home and the only baby in there is my DH--LOL! I gave up nursing several years ago because I burned out BIG TIME. I started out in the float pool of the largest hospital in Ohio. It was a fast paced, exciting job--very hard too. After I got married, I switched to home health and was a visiting nurse for several years. After I quit that, I went to work for a veterinarian and did that for a long time. I quit that job a couple of years ago when I had surgery and haven't gone back to work. It's been nice--I've done lots of volunteering since then. I"ve been trying to think of something to do but nothing leaps out at me just yet.

What did you need surgery for?

My whole family is full of nurses, my two cousins, my mom, my sister, two of my aunts. My sister works in the NICU and loves it, but it is very hard. You have to be a very strong person to work there. I used to want to be a nurse, but I found out early on that I am more interested in preventative health.

What kind of Dr. is your DH?

I had surgery to repair a herniated disc. I now have a titanium plate and 6 screws in my neck. It makes for a great Halloweenesque type of xray picture!http://www.websmileys.com/sm/aliens/hae18.gif

My DH is a pediatric neurologist. He has an academic position at a large teaching facility. On top of seeing patients, he also teaches medical students and residents, does research, and writes lots of papers. He works waaaaaay too hard.
