I would love to get some cathe videos. Love the results from the firm BBS1 and BBS2, but would love something a little more challenging. I do have a regular step from years ago. Should i start with pyramids or pure strenght. looking for upper body work outs and burn calories at the sametime. any suggestions would be great. thanks

i suggest the entire intensity series dvd. you will love the pyramids and muscle endurance is a great total body w/o..and i love love love bootcamp circut w/o....imax2 is very hard and cardio & weights is somewhat "FIRM" like....you need the whole package}(

I too went from the Firm to the Intensity Series...the Pyramids specifically, then quickly the rest of the series. I love the flexibility of the DVDs. I've since acquired many more of Cathe's workouts, but I think the Intensity Series is still my favorite. Pure Strength is among the next I'll be purchasing! :)

I went from the Firm to the Body Blast series and absolutely love them, I just got the Intensity Series yesterday and previewed a few of them and I think Cardio and Weights is a wonderful start for you, Firm like but better and alot more fun! I love all of my purchases, I got the two newest series because when previewing the clips I really loved the music and these are very, very fun and motivating! PS. don't get discouraged with the Choreography, it took me a couple of times but after you learn one of the tapes the rest just come to you, it took me about 5 times of doing step blast to learn, but it was well worth learning and I just have a BLAST doing it!

I went from the Firm to Power Hour, Pure Strength, and Interval Max. Later I got everything Cathe has in DVD.

I found that separating my cardio days from my weight days, along with moving from a 2-to-3 day per week schedule to a 4-to-6 day schedule really made a huge difference in my shape and my performance, without overtraining.

Wowza-you look amazing Connie. Those abs, I would die to have those abs. I work out with cathe 5 to 6 days a week, maybe less now that spring is in the air and I can run again. What an inspiration you are to all of us. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I think that if you have done the Firm before, any Cathe video is OK for the beginner. Just be prepared for the same type of learning curve, start with no weights, etc and keep at it.

The intensity series is pretty tough, but if you've been doing the Firm for a while you should be just about where you'd need to be. IMHO the Pyramids are more intense than the Firm workouts, but I was able to complete both workouts the first time I tried them (was fried for a couple of days afterwards though, LOL). I had been Firming about a year and a half. Bootcamp is one of the toughest workouts I've seen. I also really love muscle endurance. I have a little trouble with the step routines but that is just because I can't clap and sing at the same time, can't pat my tummy and rub my head at the same time, that kind of thing, LOL. I still have fun trying them.
