Where can I purchase a high step in Canada?

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions for you all:

1. Does anyone know where I can purchase a high step and an ORIGINAL club step in Canada? http://www.smileyhut.com/characters/canadian.gif (This smiley is Canadian according to the site I got him from.)

2. Has anyone had any issues with an original club step (The Step)?

I purchased a generic turquoise/pink step about a year ago, and the tread was already lifting when it arrived. We glued it down, but it is starting to come up again. The step also does not seem to seat firmly enough in the risers and so it has a bit of wiggle. Also, it is TURQUOISE AND PINK! (I realllllly want a black/grey combo which will look way cooler. http://www.smileyhut.com/glasses/shades.gif)

I would love to purchase items directly from Cathe.com, but the shipping cost was as much as the step itself. http://www.smileyhut.com/standard_2/shok.gif

Thanks everyone!

Hi Corrie, when Cathe released her first High Step workouts, there was quite a buzz that CK Sales would start to carry them but it never happened. Cindy at CK Sales tried and tried but got no interest from them (bummer Dude:( ), TheStep Company doesn't sell in retail stores in Canada, just distributes to gyms. Guess they don't need our money 'cause there were a lot of us just waiting to bust out the credit cards. It's been years since I've seen a Club Step in any retail store and when I search through e-bay.ca I am invariably directed to a U.S. supplier. Sorry I couldn't help, I would love a High Step topper and a few more risers for my Original Club Step as well. The thrill of the hunt is on!}( :7

Take Care
Laurie:)

ps...I like your smiley, looks more 'Daniel Boone' than Canuck but we'll take it :+ You know us Canadians are always easy going about these things;-)

I ended up ordering my High Step from Cathe and just resigned myself to paying the shipping.

I like your smiley too... not so much Canuck, but like Laurie says, we're easy going so we'll take it:p

Thanks Laurie and Shelley. I'm going to hunt around the internet and then I guess I'll just suck it up and buy from Cathe. I don't pay for gym membership fees http://www.smileyhut.com/default2/flex.gif , I don't have any other hobbies that take a lot of money, AND I quit smoking over a year ago http://www.smileyhut.com/happy/happydance.gif so I guess this money is well spent!!!

Corrie,

If you live near a Fitness Depot (western Canada only, I think?) they may still carry some of the full sized steps. Around $100.

I ordered my high step directly from Cathe and just sucked up the cost. It ended up being worth every penny. I love it.

Cheers,
Sandra
