I know it can be frustrating to have to wait for a workout. However, I think that when SNM has a presale, they make it clear that there will be quite a long wait for the workouts. On the other hand, maybe they don't make it clear, but because I visit this site so frequently and have been through so many of the presales, I EXPECT a long wait...
I think part of the reason it seems so long is that the presale begins before the workouts have even been filmed. So then we are waiting not only for the release of the workouts, but also for the filming and all the work that follows. I usually estimate that it will be about a 6 month wait from the time the presale is announced. This wait includes a month (from announcement time to filming time), and 5 months for editing, checking, creating glass masters, checking again, duplicating, etc. Because of all the premixes, chapter points, etc. this takes a lot of time-- not only to design the workouts, but to check that everything is working correctly.
So, keeping all of that in mind, and assuming these workouts will be released in May or June, SNM is actually doing pretty well with this round of workouts. Only a three or four month wait this time ;-). Probably the fact that they cut out doing VHS has helped...
I think people who preoder should definitely be made aware that this is a long process. I believe SNM has made that clear in the updates they post on the website. I think they would do even better to set up an email listing of people who preorder, since I'm sure many of their customers don't visit this site on a regular basis. But, they do state that updates will be made on the site, so perhaps it is the resonsiblility of the buyer to check.
Anyway, hang in there! It won't be long now
