When did you start to feel better?

Hi everyone! About 5 weeks ago, I asked when everyone started having ms. Now I want to know when you started feeling better! I have actually been pretty lucky (no puking) but I feel like I am carsick all the time. It makes it hard to get work done and to exercise. I am ten weeks today and I had been thinking that 12 weeks was the magic number. But then I read about women who felt bad for 16 weeks, or even their whole pgs!! Please tell me they were unfortunate outliers and that most people start to feel better sooner than that! OK, please tell me the truth, regardless of what I would like to hear.

With the ending of the first trimester I was regaining my energy. Fatigue was my only issue though. I never had nausea or anything...

I smoked my last cigarette on March 17, 2004 at 10:00 pm!

It really varies from person to person, but generally it starts to get better around week 12. I personally found that it was a gradual process, whereby I just started having more good days than bad days, until finally I felt good again. My first pregnancy I had food aversions and a queasy stomach the whole way through. This pregnancy was more mild in those respects, and between weeks 12-16 they cleared up.

Cheers,
Sandra

I never had sickness, but I am always so tired. Usually by the second trimester I feel better, although, I would say I'm more tired in general when I'm pregnant. I hope you begin feeling better soon!

I was usually sick until about 21 weeks. I remember with my last pregnancy I counted up how many days I had been feeling sick and it was a huge number - I don't recommend doing that! I always consoled myself at first by telling myself that it was a sign that the pregnancy was going well, but that got old quickly.

I hope you feel better soon!

By week 13 I started to feel better. But those first 13 weeks were tough for me - extreme fatigue, nausea 24/7, major food aversions and that horrible taste in my mouth.

Hang in there, the second trimester is just around the corner. Hopefully you'll feel better then.

I only had about 4 days of sickness right around 6 weeks but was really tired and really picky about smells and tastes until 10 weeks. I am almost 13 weeks now and feel totally normal. I am back to cooking with no problems and my energy level is great.

This is our first so I really do not have anything to compare it to but I definitely think getting close to the 2nd trimester has been the best!
