When ::: CHEETAHS ::: attack hump day! 5.23

Hey, cheetahs :)

Enjoyed a 3-mile run in this beautiful weather...Was thinking about adding some Squeeze, but I still have a test to make up for tomorrow...so I'll play that one by ear.

Jess :: I went to the ABC website this morning – I *had* to find out, but no, I won’t be watching it later. I don’t tape or Tivo shows. (Well, I don’t *have* Tivo – maybe I *would* if I had it, but I kind of doubt it. I watch TV, but I’m not obsessed with any particular shows.) Hope the headache clears up and you feel better. Fifty min. of YogaX is an accomplishment in my eyes. I do think the heavy weights could be making you more tired. Great job on upping the weights/reps!!

Wendy :: Yeah, I enjoy running down the shore, too…It was great when I had a summer place in OC…but I prefer the beach over the boardwalk, though.

Judy :: hope you and DD enjoyed getting your hair done today. I am getting mine cut Friday – can’t wait. And a pedi, too…Yes, I did more or less threaten my classes with the IT investigation. What I told them was that I deleted the comments and then reported it to our IT department, who, in turn, suggested that I could have the comments traced to their origins. But I said I wanted to appeal directly to the students instead of going that route. I said that I know that somebody or several somebodies made a bad choice but I was sure that they would do the right thing and keep things appropriate from now on. And I encouraged them to be careful in anything they post on the internet for this very reason – what you think is anonymous isn’t necessarily so! So, I didn’t try to terrify them, but I think it was enough to get the offenders to straighten up and fly right.

Laurie :: hope you enjoyed the facial…that is one spa treatment I have not indulged in (yet!)…sweet deal on the free bike repairs. Work it, girl! ;)

Carole :: I’m with you on wanting to see Canada someday. Hope you had a great workout today. Looks like you’ve got a full load as usual.

Sunny :: A stretch sounds perfect after a hard leg workout. I agree—I have a hard time working out indoors when it’s nice outside. I just wanna run. But I think crosstraining has been much kinder to my body.

Jackie :: I feel good again…I’ve still got some congestion, so I was huffin’ and puffin’ a little today, but nothing big. Whoo, Shelly’s speed ladder again, huh?

Shelly :: glad you’re back! Sorry about having to drive all that way for nothing. I am usually rejected as a juror, too. (Because I worked for a state legislator.) Glad FIL has come through the operation OK…keep us posted. (((HUGS))) Still no word on what’s happening for next year.

Christine :: enjoy today’s break! Mmm, shrimp rosatta. Whenever any cheetah mentions food, I swear it must be in bold neon lights the way it just jumps off the screen at me. Man, I love food. This is my problem. I get hungry just READING about someone else’s meal. *LOL* How pathetic.

Susan :: hope you & Mariah enjoyed the picnic and orientation. Is she excited?

Kristi :: I know what you mean – I have to be extra careful about the sun right now b/c of the Accutane, which makes you particularly sensitive. Normally, I’d put on 15 before a run, but nowadays, I’m spraying on 50. (Love the Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray, BTW.) I understand your hesitation about the X while training for your race…I’m glad I did it, but I since I cut back on my running while doing it, I have lost a little endurance, which I’m not too thrilled with.

OK, so where are Gayle, Linda, and Marcia these days?

OK, I added Squeeze: buns & thighs, windshield wiper, pretzel, and standing legs. AND I banged out the test on commas for tomorrow. (I also schlepped home some poems to be graded but decided, ya know what, it ain't happenin' anymore tonight. :p Time to kick back!!!

Hey Ladies.

I am not going to do any more personals until the morning. I just wanted to check in to say that I had ordered a set of 4 resistance tubes from FWonline and got them today. I am going to bring them with me this weekend! Now I can not only get my run in but also a little weight training! }( They will come in handy with the Slim Series work outs as well as the X when I do it again, etc. I think it'll also be nice to have the option to change it up from weights now and again just because I feel like it! :p

Tomorrow is spin class. I may also do Shape It Up and chin ups if I have the energy at nap time so that I can take my rest day on friday. I'll have alot going on friday before we leave so it will be a good day not to have to worry about a work out if it's possible. :)

Any Cheetahs have fun plans for the holiday weekend or am I the only partier in the group!?! ;) :+ :7 :p }(
