What's your favorite fruit?

I've been making an afternoon snack everyday since last Monday of fresh pineapple (as fresh as you can get in NY State, that is), strawberries and green grapes. As I eat the strawberries, I think...."this is my favorite fruit". Then I get to the pineapple and think...."no...THIS is my favorite fruit". Then I remember blueberries - but they're $5 a half pint right now, so they don't make the snack yet. I just can't decide which I like best....I just know it's NOT kumquats.

For me...hands down...blueberries!! Even when they are outrageously priced, I have to have them! Pineapple and honeydew melon are close seconds.:9

I love blueberries too--my first instinct was bananas but blueberries are low carb & bananas aren't. However, I love them both in every form--on their own, in pies, in tarts, in puddings.........you get the picture.

I love all the fruits. I'm an equal opportunity fruit eater. Bananas, clementines, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwis, peaches, nectarines, pears... yummmm!:9

I'm like Emily, but there are a few of the more tropical fruits I don't like much. I can take or leave mangoes and I don't like papaya at all. I like saying it though.... PA-PA-YA!!!:p

I love mangoes. They remind me of the Virgin Islands. I love fresh pineapple and local strawberries. MMMMM, blueberries, raspberries, bing cherries. But I think the fruit I couldn't live without is bananas. I have at least one a day and probably stop at the store for bananas at least twice a week.

Another non-discriminatory fruit lover here. Whether a fruit is stamped Dole, Driscoll's, Sunkist, or a farmer's market find it ALL has my name on it:9

Mangos. Nothing else comes close. But the kind you can buy in Jewel/Kroger/Dillons/Walmart etc. are not real mangos. In fact, I can't stand them at all. If that is all I ever tasted of mangos, I would hate them. You have to go to a good Indian or Asian market to get a real mango. And you must buy them in season, otherwise they're terrible. The flesh should be soft and smooth as velvet. I know that nobody in my extended family had ever tasted a good mango until I turned them on to one. You can't buy them at corporate food stores.

I don't much care for fruit when I can have a piece of cake. However, when I do force myself to eat fruit, which is daily, I like strawberries sliced thin with a bit o' splenda, cantaloup, mangos, plain unsweetened applesauce, grapes, and raisins. And watermelon in the summertime be da bomb.
