What's the hardest premix on B & G

Leg Blast Premix!!!

Randi:

I did the leg blast premix Monday morning, and my butt was still sore over 48 hours later. What an amazing workout! Wow! This may be my favorite lower body workout of all time. This is the first time a workout with no cardio has made me feel so good! :7 This one does not use a barbell at all, but it is a super workout with plenty of walking lunges, leg presses, and firewalkers. Cathe repeats the squat and lunge combination that I adore several times. :) My legs and glutes were on fire, but I was having such a good time! :7 The cardio factor kicked in during the leg presses, and I was drenched in sweat by the end. The soothing stretch felt so good. This premix alone is worth the price of the DVD. Can you tell that I love this workout?! :7 The overall legs premix looks good too, but I have not tried that one yet and cannot compare it. The leg blast premix is right up there in intensity with my beloved Leaner Legs. It is more challenging for me than Legs and Glutes or Gym Style Legs or the standing segment of Butts and Guts as produced. There are no deadlifts in this one. The burn is relentless.

I am discovering that some of the premixes on these DVDs are more challenging than the workouts as produced. I did the Body Max 2 scrambled eggs premix this morning. Mercy! I need to work on my endurance!

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Leg Blast Premix!!!

Hey Heather does this premix also have the floor work? (Sorry for the hijack)

No Floor Work!!!

Lorrie:

No floor work unless you count crawling from the living room to soak in a warm bubble bath! ;-) The overall legs premix includes the bonus sit and stands, leg presses, and floor work.

Heather B.

RE: Leg Blast Premix Breakdown

WOW! Thanks for posting that Heather. How long is it and do you think if you were really crazy you could put the floor work on after this, or would it just be entirely too much?

Leg Blast Premix Time

Lorrie:

It clocks in at 47.5 minutes without the warm-up or 53.5 minutes if you do the Butts and Guts warm-up that is on the DVD. It would be a 73-minute workout if you added the floor work. You do not need to add the floor work. This workout is very effective without it. I did this premix Monday morning and did the floor work Wednesday morning. In my experience, I was more focused and had better form during the floor work when I did it on a different day. If you want standing work and floor work in one workout, try the overall legs premix that also includes bonus legs presses as well as sit and stands. I have not tried that one yet. If you decide to add the floor work, I want to hear about it! Yes, I will think you are crazy! :7 I think you are crazy for even thinking about it! ;-)

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Leg Blast Premix Time

Hey Wendy - I did Jari Love RTTC today - can I do this premix tomorrow - or would you suggest a rest day in between?

RE: Leg Blast Premix Time

Hey Lorrie. I'd give it a rest day in between. This premix is TOUGH on the legs. You really want them as fresh as possible!! }(

RE: Leg Blast Premix Time

Thanks a bunch! I'll give it a shot on Sunday.

Your butt is not toast yet! Just you wait until the morning after and the morning after that. Then talk to me about toast! :7
