What's in your purse?

I thought I had seen a thread like this before, but searched and couldn't find it. So...here goes...I've tried about 100 times to start carrying a smaller purse, but I just can't seem to do it. My purse isn't THAT big and it isn't really messy inside or anything, I just can't seem to get away with a small one. It just seems like it would be so much easier.

So here's what's in there:

Wallet
Palm Pilot
Sunglasses
Reading glasses (why is sunglasses one word and reading glasses two? :) )
Cell phone
Makeup bag (and I've even tried to carry ONLY lipstick and liner but it doesn't help enough to make a difference)
Airborne - cuz you just never know!
An old camera film container with Excedrin and Ibuprofen
A small thing of lotion
A tampon (or more depending on the time of month)
Keys

I even tried to take out the Palm Pilot (I'd still need it "near" me), makeup bag, lotion and wallet and I still felt "cramped" in the smaller purse. I'm doomed!

I just bought a new smaller one.
Wallet , check books,migrane meds, gas-x( you asked), cel phone. lipsticks, calendar,tampons, pads, aleve,usb computer backups,keys, equal,mints,gum,coupons, pens.I think that sums it up...
Could put more in..Kitchen sink.

Wow! I'm afraid to ask how big your bigger purse was!!! Suitcase size maybe. :) Oh yeah - I forgot migraine meds, but I cut them out of the pack and they hardly take any room at all.

Oh boy, I have a ton of crap in my purse! here goes:

Cell phone
Nail file
Wallet
Change purse
Glasses
Kit for glasses with cleaner, microfiber cloth, and screwdriver
Lipstick
Lip conditioner
Scads of business cards (mostly for antique dealers)
Small bottle of lotion
Keys
Small flashlight
Ibuprofen
Dental floss
Breath mints
Pen
Scads of receipts
And--okay--I know this is weird but, I carry a travel size roll of Charmin toilet paper--lol! You just never know when it will come in handy:eek: :7


I forgot to add that the only reason I don't carry tampons is because I no longer need them:p
 
I guess I'm a minimalist!

I carry my wallet, a lipstick, my shopping list and gum if I get to carry a purse at all. It's usually a diaper bag that I throw my wallet and lipstick in to at the last minute. That's fairly minimal as well. A couple of diapers, wipes, a roll of little baggies for the dirty diapers, a cup, a snack and a book.

That's b/c we spent it all on the new Cathe workouts! I rarely carry cash, but I do have my ATM card in my wallet along with my library card (which I haven't used in about 10 years), my Padi Dive Certification card (and I haven't been diving for 14 years), my Safeway card, Albertson's card, Sam's Club card, Sally's Beauty Supply card, AAA card and on and on it goes. Hey, I think my wallet might be the problem here!
