What's in your purse?

Oh my gosh, I don't carry anything compared to you guys (or compared to ANYONE!)! Here is my list:

cards (debit, license, Costco and insurance)
sunglasses
tampons

and that's it! I don't carry around any make-up, chapstick, lotion, hand sanitizer... nothing else. I like things so simple and easy :p

I really hate purses and always find ways to avoid carrying one so this... http://tinyurl.com/ybdyw6 ...has been a God send. It carries everything I need and is very compact. I just toss in my lip gloss, grab my keys and go.

I SO envy all of you minimalists! I always worry that I'll need something I don't have if I quit carrying it all. But Pinky - I do like your idea of a very small ziplock for my Excedrin. I wonder if there's hope for me?

and that's about it! It's rare that I carry a purse... but those 4 things I pretty much have with me whenever I leave the house. I have chapstick and bottled water in my car, so when I need those I'll have them. :D

It's funny you posted this...I just went through the drill of transfering everything from my "summer" purse to my "winter" purse yesterday and managed to get rid of a bunch of unneeded stuff (business cards, old receipts, old shopping lists, etc.) It's dreadful how the stuff accumulates.

I'm a bit of a minimalist (except for the plethora of dangerously unsheathed pens)... leftover mentality from 7 years in the military!! Old habits die slowly.
 
Well, I just upsized to a bigger purse. I have 3 kids & too much stuff to carry!!

Wallet (with money! :p But not much!) debit card, credit card, Driver's license, etc.
Checkbook
Too many lipglosses (plus some of my dd's)
Extra bubble gum
Kashi granola bar
Crayons (for when we have to wait in a restaurant to keep my kids occupied) & a couple extra pens
Ibuprofen & Imitrex
Coupons
Tampons
Cell phone
Sunglasses
Keys are on a clip that I clip on the outside of my purse so that I don't lose them plus my little pink Swiss army knife (love it, it comes in so handy!)
Perfume
Compact w/ powder
Small baggie w/ hair ties & barrettes for my dd's & a Goody Stay put hair tie for my hair
A handy little band-aid carrier (because my dd's always seem to need a band-aid!)
Kleenex
Bible- small New Testament

Um, I'm sure there's more than that, that's all I can think of! :p
 
wallet for my $, credit cards, DL, etc.
wallet for my casino player cards...no, I'm not kidding!:p
(bear in mind that neither wallet is a "real wallet", they are more like change purse type things...I hate real wallets. ACK!)
checkbook and savings passbook
pens (anywhere from 1-10 at any given time!)
coupons that my mom gives me every week.
small tube of hand lotion
face powder, a lip gloss, a lipstick and a chapstick

my keys also clip to outside of my purse like Jess'!:)

And I forgot to add a comb & a hair pick. I swear, could I cram any more stuff in there?? :p
 
Jess, I have 2 clips for my keys. My original clip is this ugly red thing and then for Christmas my mom bought me a nice leather one...I guess she felt bad for me!:7 :7 :7
