What's Been Doing Here

hey all. haven't been around lately. some weird ad-ware and virus got into my puter. but things aren't boring, well to much LOL. my father is still in chemo treatments and has his good days and bad days but doctors are very pleased with the results thus far. we qualified for a waiver to get viola aide with her autism syptoms, only trouble its a waiting list b/c of government money. hopefully a the budget will pass and it will only be 2 years instead of 3-4 years like they anticipate. otherwises we are trying very hard to work with her on our own. keeping up on the workouts of course, but eating is still horrendous at times, so thus hinders my results.

our house deal fell through b/c somebody used dh's social and name to get their electric turned on and never payed the bill. of course we have no clue who did this but a few things have led me to believe it was somebody we knew and had access to get the number. but like i said they won't tell us much and our local police said there is nothing they can do about it anyway. gggrrrrr, so in the meantime we can't do very much, not even get a cell phone, b/c the credit check won't complete b/c of this. dh is suppose to get that taken care of soon.

other then that just flowing with things. the weather is getting nicer so i am trying to get out more. got some fun stuff for viola's easter basket:jump rope, frisbee, kickball, bubbles, so we can enjoy the outdoors more. hopefully friday it won't rain and i can take her to the city park so she has more to do there then this pathetic excuse of a playground here LOL.

well sorry to be long winded hope all has been well and will be back in full swing soon.

It's good to see you Kassia. I haven't been posting much lately, mostly lurking. Anyway, just wanted you to know that I have missed reading your posts :)

Kassia, I wondered where the heck you went!!

Gads, sorry about the house and the theft of information. That's terrible. Hopefully you can get that cleared up ASAP and find an even better house. DH and I are still looking too.

Anyway, welcome back! Your spirit and sense of humor have been missed.

I've missed you and am so happy you're back. And thanks for the family update because I, and others, have been wondering.:)

Kassia!! Ditto what they said. It's good to see you back here. You bring a spark to the forums and you have been missed. I'm so glad to hear your dad is tolerating the chemo. I was worried when we hadn't heard from you. Welcome back and I look forward to your posts.

Kassia, thanks for the update. I'm glad your dad is doing OK. Good luck with the waiver funds. We finally got funds from state/county for DS to move into a residence. The trouble is there is no residence with space. If we can't find one, we lose the funding. I hope your house finding woes get cured. I'm glad you are back.

WOW didn't think i was missed so much :blushing: thanks guys its good to be back.

robin doesn't it figure you finally fight for one thing and then something else tries to defeat you. i hope you find a place with space soon so you don't lose that funding. seems everything runs on money no matter what it is. hang in there i am rooting for you.

Thanks Kassia, It's very frustrating. The residential provider of our choice is trying to buy 2 more houses to use as residences, but they have no way to predict when suitable properties will be found. We're just praying they find something appropriate before the funding gets yanked. DH thinks if they pull the funding now, we may have to discuss sueing with our lawyer. I hope things work out more smoothly in your struggles with viola.

Welcome back Kassia! It's so good to see you. You are such an inspiration. I don't know how you do what you do every day (is it all the yoga???). You're an amazing woman!!!
