What Would You Wear?

I am going to see the band Chicago at an outdoor concert. There will be nice tables set up with wine and food. The concert will start at 8:30 at night.


What would you wear to a concert such as this? The weather is supposed to be a low of 75 degrees.

I would wear crop pants, a nice top, take a sweater or sweatshirt and sandals. But I'm no fashion diva. And I don't think I've been to a concert in over 15 years. (Yikes - I'm soooo darn old.)

I say wear what you'd be comfortable in. For me that would be nice jeans, sexy top, comfortable but sexy wedge heels and a sweater in case it gets cold.

Definitely capris or long pants with a nice top...Just in case of bugs, wear pants! Also, they are perfect when you have to sit down in a seat outside you won't stick to the chair and because you won't have bugs crawl up your shorts if you are in the grass!! ) Have fun!!!!

If you wear jeans or long pants, make sure they're a summer weight. It sounds like it's going to be pretty warm. I would wear capris, a short-sleeved top, sandals, and would take along a little jean jacket or something like that in case you need it (basically the same as what Robin said).

I LOVE Chicago!! Do you remember them from the seventies (like me) or are you a youngun? I can't think of a better group to just fill the open air up with music. Have fun!

When I go to the Philadelphia Orchestra's outdoor concerts, I like to wear a knee length, A-line, light weight denim skirt fitted at the waist (no elastic), a cami top and a pair of sandals. I bring along a summer weight sweater if it gets cold. We sit in back in the grassy area on our low beach chairs or on blankets and bring a bottle of wine and picnic basket of food. They have a handful of tables further back and chairs closer to the stage. People are dressed in an assortment of styles, mostly casual though. You might want to put on some type of bug repellent and skip any other fragrance too.

Have fun at the concert. I saw Chicago about 20 years ago when I was 16 years old in Pensacola, FL. They were great! I think I wore jeans and a t-shirt then.
