What would you do if you had 6 weeks until vacation?

Hey all,

I have 6 weeks until the family vacation at the beach. I need to tone up legs and upper body and recently (a month ago) started adding more weights than cardio to my workout week. I am a reformed "cardio only" person (after reading the forums of course).

I thought Cathe's June rotation looked good but have never done S&H more than cardio in one week. And have never done a rotation but have wanted to...should I just go for it? I workout 5 or 6 days a week.

What is your typical vacation prep regimen?

Hi,

I would go for Cathe's June rotation and possibly add another week on, then take a recovery week of some lighter cardio and a couple of circuits, then do your running or whatever cardio you can fit in while you are on vacation. I think that you will be pleased with the results. I've cut my cardio down to 3-4 times a week and increased weight training and have been very pleased.
