what will you or your children be for Halloween??

They had some cute princess costumes at Kohl's when I was there today. Tinkerbell & Cinderella for $18.99. My dd was Tinkerbell a couple years ago & my dd's still dress up in it!

Ok, my 5yo found a pink ballroom princess dress at Wal*mart last night- it even has the fancy hoop skirt. ;-) And my 7yo wants to be some sort of animal, either a cat or a horse?? We'll see what we end up with...

Oh, I used to love Halloween. I remember one year I went to a Halloween party with my brother and a male friend. My brother wanted to be the statue of liberty, our friend wanted to be a vampire and I wanted to be the Supremes. So we went as the Vampire Supremes of Liberty. It was hilarious.

We were swathed in shiney green material, wearing foam statue of liberty hats, with vampire teeth and blood running down our faces. We had on gaudy jewelry, and had tin foil torches that doubled as microphones. We brought a tape recorder and lip-sinked to Stop In the Name of Love. Our guy friend, who was big and had a very deep voice, was Diana. Too funny.

This year I'll be a nerd. Like Shelley, no costume needed. :+

Cathy,
Sorry it took so long for me to reply(busy busy day yesterday)x( Any way I bought it off ebay. Since sewing is not a talent I have I rely on the talented women on ebay that sell there handmade costumes and alot of times clothes/dresses for special occasions. My kids are in a Firehouse costume contest every year so I always go over board with Halloween and I always hear about it from DH}(
